Morphy Richards Supervac Sleek Pro Cordless Vacuum Cleaner 734005 Cordless Cleaner

This is the ideal hoover for quickly picking up dirt from carpets we have a dog and cat that are leaving hair everywhere at the moment and this hoover picks it all up. When using the hoover it should be powered on and pressed once more for normal hoovering, the first press on is turbo boost this mode can only be used for 2 / 3 mins for stubborn areas not constant as battery will drain very quickly and ruin it. It should be the other way round really turn on normal hoover turbo press again as i think this is whats causing problems with people having battery issues.

|***Updated***Please stay away from buying this product. There is an issue with the battery and after 8 months of usage, the vacuum stopped working. When I contacted the manufacture they said it is not covered. Hence it is not worth buying.After a lot of thoughts, I have chosen to buy this Morphy Richards 734005 Supervac. Happy with the purchase and it does what it says.I have another corded vacuum and it is almost 5 + years old and decided to go for cordless as it is bit heavy also to get rid of the cords which get stuck around the corner of the sofa's and doorsThis Morphy Richards 734005 Supervac has 18v battery once it is fully charged with max power I get around 14- 15 mins of run timeWith min power setting I get around 27-28 mins of run time.The good thing I liked about this vacuum is battery indicator, motorised brush in the bottom and LED indicatorsThe motorised brush really digs the tiny dust and particles from the carpet and the brush is easy to clean. the LED white indicator starts to blink in case of the motor is struck or any large particle struck (I feel these indicators are very handy to know the issue)In terms of the weight, it is very handy and does not feel heavy when you hold it in the correct angle and also do not need to apply any pressure.It can be stored in upright or flat. it is very small and it would not occupy much space.Easy to clean and take out the dust container, just one click opens the dust collector and easy to unpack and repack everything back. It is worth the price compared to the other expensive models in the marketIt is bit louder when it is running on the max power settingsExtras : Only one power cleaner for hard reach area (See attached images)

It’s great for a one bedroom flat to do each room picks up well both carpet and hard floors! Battery does only last around 10 minutes on full power though but like I say perfect for a small place! I wish there was a brush attachment to the nozzle for doing the car . Overall I am pleased with this it does the job nicely!

After reading mixed reviews I thought I'd give it a shot. 2 weeks down the line and no problems. Easy to empty(do it after every use) good suction on full power lasts 10 mins, heavier than thought. But beats the hell out off brushing. So far so good.UPDATE:after 6 months suction fell to half. 11 months battery failed completely. So, if your prepared to pay 50 pounds (as I did) for 11 months of mediocre operation, there you go. :(

This is a fantastic piece of kit, bought at a very reasonable price (c £85). The suction is good and the pick up on dog hairs amazingly effective. It's necessary to keep emptying the container and taking hair off the roller but this is easily achieved. Quite literally, this has revolutionised our daily cleaning compared to a standard Dyson. Just be careful when propping up without support as it can fall over quite easily, and that would damage it (obviously).

This is a good vacuum for it's size/weight. Obviously not up to the power of a mains model but much more convenient to use every day. Battery life in use is good. However I'm now on the 3rd one of these, each time after about 11 months the battery stops holding charge. It runs for maybe a minute then dies. It is a real shame that Morphy Richards can't just replace the battery - it clips out of the vaccum so must be designed as a replaceable item. Both times I've phoned them they have referred me back to Amazon for a full replacement of the whole machine as it is under 12 months old which seems wasteful.

Good battery life great suction power so light weight too much easier when cleaning the stairs and cordless too so no issues about tripping over wires, definitely recommend a great hoover, easy to clean and empty out

Used it for 5 months, around 4 times per week. It is light weight and compact and suction is pretty good in general. There is definitely the problem with storing /cleaning it almost every other time as mentioned by few people already. It is a good option for a small house. The reason why I have given it a rating of 1 is because it broke after 5 months without any warning - probably because it is a bit too top heavy and thus the overall stability is affected. The motor /top portion is fine, but the pipe connector is broken. Bought the connector separately, but now the battery power is gone after 3 more months. After a full charge, it just works for a minute maximum. Hence I've changed the rating to 1 now. Really disappointed with the product now. It has not even completed 1 year...
