It’s hands-down THE best product on the market of this type. It’s a bit pricy and I was hesitant to spend so much on it but I have no regrets. Having owned the exact same model before, I knew it was great quality and lasted for years and years before it wore out, (my old one still works but the auto-ignition gave out eventually). Excellent and smooth adjustable gas flow. A very solid and safe product.

Top notch kitchen torch

This is so much better than the bottom filled all in one torches. The Iwatani is really easy to assemble - just a push and twist and that's it. Good sized flame, easy to control, you can do a dozen or so brulees or pastéis in a short space of time. Really happy. But watch out, there's a lookalike that's a bit cheaper but not an Iwatani, no idea how good that is compared to the real thing.

Well it’s a blow torch and it does blow torching very well, which all in all is a bit of a win.

Well made, decently adjustable, but prone to ‘popping’ flame due to canister or gas pressure not being regulated. Torch only means you can swap gas cartridges with stoves etc

This is the best kitchen torch! Lights easily and has great flame control.

I have previously had blow-torches with fillable cannisters which invariably don't fill! This torch fits directly onto the gas cannister, without having to fill. The flame is very powerful and has two adjustments on the torch. At last I am a happy Chef 😀

After trying a number of torches for various culinary (and non-culinary) tasks, this one is head and shoulders above all the others, particularly the one falsely represented as Iwatani. Im grateful for the honest comment pointing this out.

Trigger could turn off and on gas like previous model.

I really like this torch. It is very easy to use and has lots of adjustment. The clip-on base is very secure. It also burns all the fuel in the butane canister, no leftovers. I also use it in the garage because I can get a lower flame temp and gentler flame pattern than other torches.
