These are OK, but get noisy at low level when used with a mains dimmer.I used a proper LED mains dimmer (Varilight JQP401W V-Pro) and even with this there was a slight flickering and buzzing from the transformer irrespective of which mode I set the dimmer to.I switched to using a 12volt dimmer between the transformer and lights, and this works much better. All I wanted to do was pre-set a brightness level and not have it continually adjustable.Also, these can get a bit warm, to put them in a well ventilated area.

Edited review:I left a poor review due to this transformer buzzing loudly. It turns out that I had a leading edge dimmer. Have swapped for click switch again and it works great now (reliably and silently). Trailing edge dimmer ordered so will now hopefully be fine

Does exactly what it says on the box! Well made but connection terminals are very small and fiddly. Larger than the unit it replaces - then that one failed, maybe because they tried to make it too small!

I have an almost identical story to one of the other reviewers.I ordered 2 of these to drive some LED strips. The first one works perfectly with a good dimming range (am using a decent trailing edge grid module to dim them). The other one however buzzes loudly, particularly when dimmed to around 75%.Contacted Amazon and had it swapped out, but have just found that the new one has exactly the same issue!Not sure what's causing this - they're driving identical strips and swapping things about yields the same results - the faulty unit buzzes, the good one doesn't.So, now I'm wondering whether to a) return this one as well and hope I get lucky; b) mount it on some rubber mount to decouple it from the wall [but I think it's buzzing too much for this to be effective] c) replace it with a similar unit from a different manufacturer; or d) strip the unit to pieces and replace the part which is buzzing [presumably a coil].I'm leaning towards option c, but I might just try a and cross my fingers!

I bought two of these to drive two 2.5m LED strips on the kick plate each side of a kitchen island. I wanted something that would work with a dimmer to dim the LEDs. I matched the Driver wattage to the wattage of each LED strip. The first one fitted, worked perfectly. It dimmed correctly and was silent in operation. The second one however although it dimmed ok made quite a loud humming noise all the time - dimmed or otherwise. I have noticed that when I started to wire the second driver some of the terminals were already loosened, which they hadn't been on the first one. It clearly looks as if it had been used and then returned .... no doubt because it was humming! If this was the case it was a little bit naughty of the supplier to send this back out to another customer! ....and would also suggest that the manufacturing quality and quality control is not as it could be? - if you are lucky and get a good one then it's a good buy .... then again you may get a substandard one?

Hatte den Bedarf die Stromquelle für ein LED-Leuchtband zu ersetzen. Die Anschlussklemmenfelder bieten zwar nicht allzuviel Platz, aber es lässt sich alles sauber anschließen, insbesondere konnte ich die Kritik anderer Käufer bzgl. der eigentlichen Klemmen nicht nachvollziehen. Bin voll und ganz zufrieden mit dem Teil.

Der LED Trafo ist preislich okay. Gibt nicht viele Trafos die Dimmbar sind. Er macht was er soll und würde ihn wieder kaufen.

Le transformateur a été livré avec les dessins inversés : output à la place d'input et vice versa. Conclusion, il a grillé à l'allumage.

Habe den LED Treiber mit dem Eltako EUD61NPN-UC Universal-Dimmschalter und verschiedenen LED Leuchtmittel getestet.Leider nur mäßig Helligkeitsreduzierung.Für die bei mir vorgesehene Einsatzgebiete jedenfalls nicht einsetzbar. 2 Punkte abzug.

ne fonctionne pas avec un variateur yokis ni legrand. fonctionne très bien sans variateur. c'est vraiment dommage. je suis déçu.

Collegato a 210cm di striscia smd-led con resa eccellente. Sicuramente di qualità, attualmente funzionante senza problemi con molte ore di "lavoro" già sulle spalle.Per evitare sorprese, quali sfarfallii dei led ad esempio, consiglio di accoppirare un l'alimentatore un po' sovradimensionato rispetto al wattaggio effettivamente richiesto (senza esagerare s'intende).

Wer einen dimmbaren LED-Treiber mit 12 V Ausgangsgleichspannung benötigt, ist mit diesem LED-Treiber sehr gut beraten.Die schöne und flache Bauweise untermalt die Qualität, die man heutzutage standartgemäß erwartet.

In Kombination mit einem Eltako-Dimmer kann ich mit diesem Trafo sogar die (eigentlich als nicht dimmbar beschriebenen) Sebson-SMD-Leuchtmittel für G4-Stiftsockel (und auch viele GU5,3-SMDs) sehr gut dimmen -bisher haben dasalle Leuchtmittel auch gut verkraftet.Die Anschlussklemmensind aber schlimmer China-Murks. Um konventionelle Kupferdrähte anzuschließen, muss man sehr lange fummeln und die Drahtenden vorher mit einer Zange so lange flachdrücken, bis sie endlich hineinpassen. Das ist ärgerlich und schade bei einem ansonsten guten Tafo - daher ein Stern Abzug.
