These are not cheap junk! All of the important parts are metal, nicely finished, and fit together smoothly. It comes with all of the necessary connectors to ensure good contact. The set that I bought did not include the cable which made sense since the amount of cable required will vary depending upon your layout. The cable is available on Amazon. The instructions are excellent. Take your time and read them through (thoroughly!) a couple of times before starting and you will end up with a beautiful installation. Thanks to efficient LED bulbs, these are bright lights, not dim like some other landscape lights. I highly recommend them.

I’ve made several purchases of Sunvie products and I’ve been impressed by both the products and the company. Product details matter to me and there are a number of thoughtful touches in this product and their others: - Their dual, thumbscrew connectors are simply the best low-voltage connectors out there. Easy to attach and stays on tight. - The pathway lights screw (vs snap) together with solid threads among the parts. They’ve thoughtfully routed the power cable through the middle of the rod and through an opening in the ground spike. - Metal parts are quite solid and durable, especially for these price points. - The transformer has a mode where you can have it triggered “on” by the photoeye but “off” by the timer. That’s just how I like to set up my lights so they are not all on throughout the night. - The photoeye attaches to the transformer with a barrel connector. But they’ve thoughtfully given it a threaded outer barrel so that it can’t just inadvertently pull out. - The transformer feels as solid as a battleship. Some improvements I hope they’ll consider for the future: - Many of the more recent outdoor lighting controllers can be programmed with your location (either zipcode or latitude and longitude) so that the device “knows” when sunset is. This is quite useful particularly when you locate the transformer indoors (like in the garage) and so the photoeye might not be conveniently routed to the outside. - WiFi/HomeAssistant integration. This really wants to be part of an overall home control system. - The menu system on the transformer is very usable but not completely intuitive. Fortunately, there aren’t a lot of settings and they’ve thought to have the overall mode conveyed by dedicated LEDs rather than being buried inside some menus as is often the case on some of these controllers. I’m a fan and as I add more lights outside, this manufacturer remains my first go-to.

This was surprisingly easy to set up. I've never done landscape lighting before but I would consider myself a person easy to learn. Set up was easy and the results are phenomenal. I never realized how dark my front yard was as the really brighten up the space. The materials are metal which is what i need. Its pure quality and it looks great too. Theres no smart features so app connection isnt possible but thats really not an issue for me. Over all its a Great buy and I plan to buy one for my back yard.

Writing this review over a year after install. Still absolutely love this setup, gives our home a high end feel. Installation took longer than planned however took our time to get wires run perfectly and also had to tunnel under the walkway. Only use on auto (dusk to dawn) and works flawlessly. Still love driving home at night and seeing the house. Would highly recommend

I wish I purchased this sooner instead of the solar lights that we previously used. These lights have definitely enhanced the look of our home at night and increased the curb appeal! I like that this includes spot lights, pathway lights, and a transformer all in one package. The lights were super easy to assemble and install into our landscape. The only dislike about this product is with the transformer. It is easy to use but sometimes when I press a button to change a setting, the entire thing turns off and stops working. I have to move/jiggle the transformer a little to get it to turn back on. Makes me think there is a wiring issue or something within the transformer itself that causes it to malfunction. Only time will tell if this will get worse but so far, it has not died on me.

I got this product after reading mixed feedback, however the product appeared to be of good quality and with no issues. Specifically, many have experienced difficulty with the included connectors, being unable to pierce the main LV cable. I got a thick 12 awg cable from Lowe’s. This cable thickness is max recommended per product manual and can run lots of fixtures. The connectors were able to pierce the cable and ensure all 10 fixtures working from the first try. You need to be careful with the screws though as the threads are plastic and fragile. I also used silicone to seal all connectors before burying in the ground. No issues with rain / water to date. The spot lights are small, but powerful enough to light a tree 5 yards tall.

Really, really nice set and lights look fantastic. Had minor issue with the transformer, but the Team stepped in right away to help me resolve my issue. I would definitely buy these again and am actually thinking about doing so for a relative for Christmas. Thank you Sunvie!!!

For a fraction of the price of any other sets you will find, this is amazing. Im a landscaper and I installed this set a few weeks ago to accent a custom waterfall we built a few years back and it completely elevated the appeal of the area. Easy to install, sturdy lights (not that super flimsy aliminum that bends easily). I also added in a set of path lights to the existing set easily with simply one connection then a split to a new lead line. The connector clips make it fool proof to mess up the connections.
