Small Double 4'0 Divan bed - 2 drawers and Ortho Mattress

First time ordered on Amazon bed came quick ordered 16/11/2015 phoned next day to say delivering non 18/11/2015. Impressed man who delivered took it to the room to be set up in as I couldn't get upstairs on my own it was easy to put together only needed to put the feet on and join the base halves together. Spent a lot of time of taking the packaging off the base as it was stapled to the sacking so had to remove very carefully to avoid any damage. The wheels went on OK except for one that I had to fiddle with but managed in the end. I couldn't get the base clips on as there were no instructions so have left them off for my son to do when he comes to visit but the bed won't move as it just fits in the space. Wanted it to go across the room but slightly bigger than expected I was expecting it to be 120 x190 but it fits lenghwise. The mattress feels very comfy and is quite thick. I bought this as a guest bed in a small room. Good value for money. I have't had any comments on comfort as no one has slept on it. I would give this product. Four and half stars, would have been five only for the fiddling with the packaging on the base and lack of info as to how to put the clips on the base.

The bed arrived as promised, they called the day before so good notice, no am or pm time though. The plastic packaging was good but there is two oily marks on the end of one of the bases caused by the corrugated paper covering the ends inside the plastic having oil stains on them. Fortunately, you can't see them so I didn't contact the seller BUT and its a big 'but' is the way you have to connect the two bases for this 4ft bed. There was no instruction sheet so my husband didn't know what the 2 white sort of horseshoe shaped little brackets were for. They actually are to join the 2 bases together, bit like a bulldog clip! Hopefully they hold but surely a couple of drilled holes and screws to connect the bases would be a more secure solution. Can't rate the bed comfort wise as its for my son and he's only slept on it a couple of night so far. It looks very nice but the finish could be better but for £175 I can't complain too much. But, please, sort out the connection of bases method!

I was very sceptical based on the reviews. I’m a visual person, therefore I try to assess the situation based on picture reviews. The fact this had bad picture reviews didn’t give me much hope. However I’m over the moon with the purchase. Delivery went smoothly, mattress was slightly damp on the sides however I’ll put that down to condensation. Great sleep and great size! I’d recommend for a smaller room with little storage! It doesn’t look exactly like the picture (no headboard) but I’m very happy with the purchase.

I moved to a new house and downsized and my bed took up most of the bedroom space so I had to buy a smaller bed. This bed is so comfortable it arrived very quickly and was so easy to assemble. The price was good and I wouldn't change it for the world.

This was lucky to get 3 stars from me. The problem was putting it together. The holes in the base where the wheels go - some of them had glued wood stuck in the holes. I am CERTAIN that I can't be the only one who got an unlucky batch, so be aware of this. I didn't know what was going on, only that I couldn't get some of the wheels in the holes. And then after inspecting I saw that some of the holes were literally jammed with glued wood inside of them. I ruined two pairs of good tweezers first trying to pick the wood out and ultimately frustratedly jabbing at the wood till it chipped out. But it still didn't go well, because when I thought I'd got all of it out I tried again to get the wheels to snap in like they are supposed to, but there was still wood deeper in the holes. And the wheels buckled when the weight of the bed was put on them :( It's crazy to spend that amount of time digging unexpected glued wood out of the wheel holes. I took pictures which I will post soon on this review.Other than that minor (major) flaw the bed is decent. The white fabric on the base of the bed looks a touch fragile/tearable. And there was a heck of a lot of staped fabric to keep the corners and edges protected during transit. All in all that's not a bad thing - but they were everywhere, and after tearing off the fabric you're left with this little javelins of death poking out everywhere. The mattress is nice (medium firm I would say), the drawers work, and it's reasonable value for money. But I'd pay more to avoid the fiasco of buckled wheels and digging wood out of the holes in the base!

Forgot to write a review on this, I purchased a while ago now for my 3 year old, this bed lasted about 7 months and then caved in. Do not buy poor quality and was only slept on by my 3 year old.

Well, where do I start. I emailed seller as required the bed by a certain time. The seller replied swiftly and accommodated my timescale and work commitments. I was later advised a time slot, (which didn't mean waiting in all day) the bed arrived in suitable packaging. Unpacking the bed it's extremely comfortable and is a good height. My son absolutely loves his new bed, so much so I have trouble getting him up for school. This bed is a real gem, an absolute must have in a small room which doesn't have room for a double bed, great price too!

Bought small double for my daughter who has the box room and fits well. Easy to assemble.Wanted drawers on the side and emails were replied quickly. Did wait over a week for delivery and would of liked it sooner but daughter is very happy with it.
