The Upgraded Version Of The Ridge Flex
I love the Ridge Flex boot. It goes on fast, fits well, plenty of room, laces close tight, and the boot is light. It's a polarizing design due to the Flex bellow; some people hate it, but I love it, especially in my line of work (driving full time). The problem with the Ridge Flex is it isn't slip or oil resistant. I nearly fell several times because the tread doesn't grip slick surfaces AT ALL. That's where the Reno comes in. As you can see in my photo, the Reno is nearly identical in design to the Ridge Flex; in my opinion, the lacing system is even better and the material is more durable than the Ridge Flex. ALWAYS go up a HALF size if you use orthotics and other inserts. As for weight, this is critical to hip, knee, and other joints: it sounds silly, but a boot beyond 30 ounces each WILL affect things you never thought possible. I have a digital good scale, and the weight with orthotics and Odor Eaters Ultimate inserts on the Ridge Flex is 23 oz per boot; the same scenario on the Reno is 28 oz per boot. This means including the Carbon Fiber toe, you only have a 5 oz difference AND oil/slip resistance among other features. I will be buying another pair in a different color.

Amazing boot
I have read some of the reviews on this boot. Some of you must have never worn an incredibly uncomfortable boot. This boot feels great, I always change my insole as I have quite a high arch. This boot is light and feels good, however there is a break in period, LIKE MOST GOOD BOOTS. Yes my toe was rubbing slightly on the material inside. However, not enough discomfort for me to say this is a bad boot. 2 weeks in and my boot fits perfectly now. No more toe rubbing.

Very nice boots all around. Confort is ok
Craftsmanship is great on this brand, comfort it’s not the best out there, but is not bad at all either. It is good, that’s it. It can probably be improved with some anti fatigue insoles , if you need more that. Thayer are on the lighter side though. Worth the money for sure!

Great boots
Bought these to replace my old work boots for motorcycling and exploring while out riding. I was looking for something waterproof and I could walk and hike in. These are perfect. Just returned from 2500 mile motorcycle trip with rain and lots of walking. These boots were more than perfect. Very comfortable. So glad I made this purchase. Only regret is I should have bought these sooner.

Hard to put on
Have to listen every morning to the Hubs say this is the worst part of my day ! Putting on these boots . The laces won’t loosen to slide his foot in . Size 11 Wide. After finally getting on they are OK he says . Nothing special , but doesn’t hurt . I ordered him a different brand today . These are about a month old . Going in trash .

EVERY MAN SHOULD OWN a pair of Keen Utility Men's Reno Mid Height
I am extremely impressed with the Keen Boots I bought. I'm a contractor so I'm on my feet a lot. Ive gone through so many pairs of boots because their lack of durability.Great boots for me as a remodeler, walking, kneeling and moving about all day. Very comfortable for all day wear. Holding up great! My feet don't hurt at the end if the day when I take them off. When I wore other boots, my feet would hurt after taking the boots off. However, these boots are very comfortable. I highly recommend this product.
