Perspirex Antiperspirant roll on Comfort, 20 ml

I'm a 23 y/o male, who has had problems with underarm sweat my entire life. I always found it very embarrassing at school, later at work, any kind of light-coloured T-shirts / uniforms were an absolute nightmare. I have trained myself to always keep my arms down at my sides, no exaggerated movements at concerts etc, in order to try and hide my sweat patches over the years. I tried Driclor, a product that gets prescribed by Doctors (GPs) in the UK, and that worked wonderfully!... Except for the unbearable irritation. By the fourth night, I had to have a shower at 4am as I was literally twitching from the pain. I thought I would just have to put up with it, the excessive perspiration, I would buy cotton pads which affix to the inside of shirts to try and absorb at least some of the sweat, I tried lots of things but it was just relentless. My 'fashion sense' never developed as a teen, as all my shirts, hoodies etc would just go horrible and crusty after a few wear-wash cycles, I suppose due to my deodrant just being sweated out onto the underarms. All that being said, my girlfriend set about finding alternative Driclor-style products and found this. I didn't have much hope as; how could something prevent the sweating without inducing unbearable stinging? Well, I am very, very, happy to say that, in my experience, this product has done that. After maybe 3 nights of using it, just a little bit on each underarm, my sweat patches shrunk until they were no longer existant. I was speechless, I'd had to endure no pain at all, I had taken on the mindset that you had to pay for a sweat-free life with extreme pain each night you used a product like this. I have since ditched my horrible old T-shirts and shirts for nicer jumpers etc which I can wear in full confidence knowing they won't get ruined, and that I no longer have to worry about being embarrassed when raising my arms. It's been so freeing, and this is why I titled this review 'Life changing'. I have started to pay more attention to my appearance overall, and in general just been having a great time. I can't believe this is how my sweat-free peers were feeling like all these years! Fantastic. I will be a customer for life, I'm sure. I now apply every other night or so, but I did forget for perhaps 3 nights at one point and still, no sweating from the underarms. 5* all the way. Please note that other reviews mention irritation, it's such a shame and I wish those people luck in finding a gentler product. But, in my case, I don't have a history of very sensitive skin, so I was okay. TLDR; Used to sweat loads from the underarms, now I don't. No pain from this product. Now far more comfortable in my own skin. Can't recommend enough. Sorry for the life story but it has really helped that much!! Best of luck to anyone who is in the same situation I was.

Why have I not found this sooner?! I’ve spent all my teenage life and early twenties not daring to wear colourful tops & dresses because I always get sweat patches but since finding this, I can literally wear anything I want!! Some people said in the reviews it stings to put on however for me, it didn’t sting or feel uncomfortable to apply at all. I just cant believe how dry my underarms feel! Amazing stuff, highly recommend!!

Amazing I am totally dry and free to wear any shirts and t shirts in summer heat. However it can be itchy and sting when applied it is worth it. And the sensation fades. You can take breaks and try every other day.

I have grown up not wearing any fabrics that might show sweat stains, that would make me hot, and hated summer/hot weather with a passion. I dreaded work when I knew it was going to be warm. Basically, any movement or change in temperature and I would show the whole world how much I sweat. I grew embarrassed to the point of not wanting to go out for walks or anything. Then I found this. With the warmer weather I thought this might help. My god, it helps so much!! I did as instructed, wore it every night for a week and wash off in the morning, then after a week wear it every couple of nights. I am wearing whatever I want at the moment! At work I had to wear a jacket over a top because I used to get sweat stains on the top, now I'm wearing the same top with no jacket because I'm not leaving any marks anymore! I honestly cried and feel so much happier knowing that I don't have to focus on hiding my armpits. The issue I have is discomfort. Now I prefer shaven armpits, so that may have caused some added discomfort, because lately whenever I put a layer on my armpits feel dry to the point of needing to scratch, even in the middle of the night. What i have started to do is put some moisturiser on when I'm not using the product at night. This seems to help and feels so weird saying I need to put moisture on my armpits when that was the issue before. I'm using the comfort which is meant to help with sensitive skin, but honestly it doesn't feel that way. I'd recommend the product because it has helped so much, but I will strongly advise against if you have issues with dry skin or incredible sensitive skin. X

Didnt "roll" ball was stuck, got a refund and purchased from elsewhere. Having used before i can say it works. Used once every 3 NIGHTS on unbroken and not on a day where iv shaved my pits. I dont sweat anymore

I have been using this antiperspirant deodorant for a few months and I am very happy with it. It keeps me dry and fresh throughout the day, even after long shifts at work. It has a subtle scent that does not clash with my perfume. It does not irritate my skin or leave any stains on my clothes. It is easy to apply and lasts for a long time.

Fantastic product - comes in a tiny container which is convenient for travelling. My sister recommended it and I’ve been off normal deodorant since. I have sensitive skin and only apply it once a day - itching is limited to the first few minutes after application. Worth a try!

This does work however not for continuous use as it leaves the skin irritated and burns when applying

I’ve been using this deodorant for three years and it has changed my life. It was prescribed by a dermatologist as I sweat much more than other women. I don’t smell but just perspire a lot. This is the only deodorant that controls that. I only use it once a week. Have a shower before bed time, put it on, let it dry and then wear my pjs. I only use a bit of dove or rexona lady in the mornings but it’s minimal. This is the soft version and I need to be careful to apply just one layer. If I do this properly I never get irritations.
