Works like the Expensive ones only isn’t
Been a metalsmith and jeweler for over 50 years and my degrading eyesight finally compelled me to buy better magnifiers, looked at many options, some were wearable, some were static, some were even digital and gave much more magnification then what I needed. This one checked all the boxes, mechanically rugged, simple to erect, and easy to use. It took me a while to get used to using it, 50 years fo using headsets required some adjustment, but my posture is better, more erect, better view of the details; the ring lamp is the bomb. I can set stones or engrave all day now with little to no fatigue, in hands, neck, posture, or eyes. Absolutely Love it!!!

PERFECT ITEM!
I was really concern about this microscope because the price is good, but is perfect, works great and the holder is really strong, the capacity of the microscope is real and i am really happy!

So far so good.
This scope works well. I’ve not used any other microscope like it so I have nothing to compare it to but it works well for me.

A must have for the workbench
I had originally been looking at the Leica A60 with the Acrobat stand on Rio Grande for $2950. I figured I would check Amazon just to see what they had. I'm so glad I did. At $400 for this one it's a no-brainer. I was skeptical that something would be off for such a low price but there isn't. It zooms amazingly, is super sturdy and saved me $2550 plus tax. I dont know what anyone would need it to do more that would make it worth buying a Leica.2 important things to know: The instructions are non-existent. With a little effort you can figure it out. You may need to add a shelf to your workbench. The stand is very heavy-duty but just like the Acrobat, they need a little space. I didn't want to lose any of my workspace so i added a shelf onto the back, as you can see in the pictures. I made mine out of mahogany because of the heavy weight.Overall, two minor inconveniences to save $2500!

The best deal I’ve ever seen, and WORTH it
Today I unpacked and got this gorgeous new scope set up on my bench, and am loving it. True, the instructions are a bit wonky, but it’s pretty straightforward to get together. The arm glides, the scope is powerful and high quality, and it’s sturdy. An incredible upgrade for my work, and one I wish I’d made so much sooner. I LOVE my new bench scope!! I’ll be sure to update my review in a few months if anything fails or changes, otherwise no (other) news is great news!As yet another jeweler leaving a fawning review, seriously y’all, get this scope for your bench.

Fantastic
This works great! I don’ know why someone would spend thousands when this is available. I’m still getting used to working under magnification but wow, what a good difference. The light is totally worth it. I debated about getting the light or not and I’m so glad I did. On/off with a dimmer that illuminates the work area perfectly. Optics are fantastic. The directions aren’t worth the paper it’s written on but it is very easy to figure out. Comes with a plastic dust cover that does NOT fit this a all.

So nice to SEE what you are doing.
I own a jewelry store with two bench jewelers. This product is so well worth the cost. I noticed that ring sizing and re-pronging was completed in a much faster way. One has to SEE what they are doing. THANKS
