The person who designed this knew what they were doing. It was delivered yesterday. Her Furry Majesty took to it immediately: scratching, sitting, rubbing face on the edges. It's roomy enough for 12 + pound fur baby. Higher sides than her other scratchy box and the scratch pad is reversible. And you can get refills. Really easy to put together. Seems sturdy enough so far. Nice solid scratch pad she went to right away. I don't worry about messiness. So far, there's no cardboard bits. Higher sides walls are thick. She seems to feel very comfortable in this new box.

It's so hard to find cardboard scratchers that cats can be comfortable using and are also long lasting. This high walled box design is genius for cats. It's like a cozy bed but it doubles as a scratcher. The size of the assembled scratcher/lounger is very generous and my 13 pound boy has plenty of space to move around and scratch or nap. Because of the walls, it means the little scraps of cardboard stay contained inside and not all over the floor. I will definitely be purchasing this scratcher from now on!

My big Maine Coon loves this sturdy box. It was so easy to put together. It fits her big size. She enjoys having her own box to snooze in. Good value for the money.

I have 1 hefty boy and 1 hefty-ish girl. They recently destroyed their other cardboard house, so I replaced it with this. Super easy to put together, seems very durable. My boy didn’t hesitate with making himself comfy. Would buy again.

The scratcher box is easy to assemble and seems very sturdy. My cat doesn’t like how he can’t keep it in place and scratch at the same time. May need a small to medium sized cat. My cat is 15 lbs and doesn’t like to sit inside the box and scratch inside.

My cats love hiding, lounging and playing in this cat scratcher box. It is fast and easy to set-up. I like the simplicity of the design. It is not bulky like others and the scratch pad can be flipped and used on the other side when worn out.

Why the heck are you guys not selling this on Chewy yet? I'm sure it will make y'all millionaires for real! We used to get Frisco brand step in cardboard boxes for my cat, but I was frustrated that it was a one time use. Meaning, once the cardboard pad was scratched up, the entire box needed to be thrown out. I was frustrated with this, especially the price has gone up to $13 for just one.Until, I found this wonderful thing. The cardboard scratch pads are reversible AND replaceable! Which means that I don't need to dump the entire box each time my cat is through with scratching, this is wonderful! It is larger and the sides are higher, which means my cat can more cozily fit into this scratcher. He took to it immediately and hasn't moved from his spot since. You have my business!

It felt like a splurge when I purchased the item originally. I thought I was paying for something that wouldn't last a month. My cats love these boxes!

It was exactly as it said I’m delighted with it so is my cat Charlie he often prefers it to his cat bed every time he comes in he goes straight for the scratch box has a good scratch then sits in the box sometimes has a nap you don’t get all the mess as the bits stay in the box easily shaken out the actual scratch board is so much better than others I have not had hardly any bits as it’s very strong not demolished in a few times like others iv had the box is very strong too I highly recommend think I waited about two weeks for it but could track it which was good too……
