Really good
This is my second one. I had an earlier version and i lost it in a house move. I bought this new one and it's been improved slightly. The original was good but this is better. It's very sturdy and doesn't show any signs of coming off despite some decent usage now. The size of it makes you doubt it will stay on but it attaches very well to a merida e160 and its very stiff and durable. It completely stops the mud from the rear wheel, protecting both my back and the rear shock linkage. Its a quagmire right now and this item is gold. Highly recommend it.It comes with heli tape to protect the frame and velcro straps to attach. I also used my own cable ties just to make sure. I think the original one was cable ties only. If you're looking for an effective rear mudguard this is just that. No draw backs that i can think of.

Quality product
Good quality product reasonably easy to install( a bit of trimming at the crank end to make it fit my XC Mountain bike) comes with Velcro ties, I chose to use Zip ties for more security, Zip ties don't come with it, the Velcro ones do, though for some reason only four when there are six slots on the mudguard? Anyway very happy. Its quality.

Good value for the price
A well made product that is sturdy when fitted.A little on the long side, but ideal after a little modification

Keeps me mud free.
This is the best rear mudguard I’ve ever had, this is my third one, slightly improved from the last one with the Velcro straps, but i didn’t use them, i prefer to install it a little bit more secure, somebody else wrote this tip, wrap a piece of old inner tube around the part of frame and then use zip ties, this protects the paintwork and holds the mudguard more tightly, this way the mudguard will not move at all. Highly recommended, very solid material, like i said earlier this is probably the best rear mudguard you can buy, excellent 👍

Fiddly to fit, needs heatgun to do properly
The plastic wrap that needs to go around the seat stays to protect them from rubbing where the guard attaches has to be gently softened with a heatgun to apply properly and the side pieces also needed to be heated and and reshaped to fit. I also had to cut two notches in the mudguard to allow the it to fit around the seat stays and use a zip tie to firmly attach the bottom piece to the frame as the instuctions (and online video) warned repeatedly to avoid rubbing against the frame. I would have give up and returned it if I hadn't already attacked it.Bike is a Trex Marlin 29" MTB

Mudhugger
Have had a Mk1 before and after trying a few different makes on my present bike which have useless at keeping my back mud free. I have gone for the Mk2 and I must say once I fitted it if this doesn't do the job nothing will. I have not tried it yet but will soon. Most easy to fix although I opted to use zip ties for the fixing as that's what I used when I last had one. I will post a update when I have been for a ride. Well just back from a ride on a very muddy trail, and glad to say I did not have one spot of mud on my back. Definitely a 5 star product.

High quality rear fender from higher price end of the available offer
I made a short research of what is available and this seems to be the best rear fender. It's durable, it's close to the tire and doesn't change overal silhouette of the bike that much (taken into account that it's a fender). Mud protection level is very good. The price is definitely not friendly but if the fender lasts and works well, I can accept it.
