Nice Quality, lightweight and wonderful

I have the smaller version of this wrap and love it, but absolutely love this larger version. Less moving the wrap position to ice a different area. This back wrap is very comfortable and stays put while going about your daily activities. I prefer to order a larger size to go over clothing, as the cold gets pretty intense directly on your skin. The gel ice stays cold while being soft enough to conform to your body. I Highly recommend this product

These are the perfect wraps for sport injuries, recovering from surgeries and just occasional aches and pains - I now own ones for wrist, elbow, knee, back & hip. First instead of having to store a big wrap in your freezer you need only to put the inserts in to the freezer which saves a ton of space. I'm able to store 4 small (hand/wrist and elbow), 3 medium (knee and back) and one large (hip) in the space of about one large wrap. Second these remain very pliable which helps in forming a nice, comfortable cold area - yet the exterior seems quite sturdy to prevent tears or leaks. Third, the high quality neoprene wraps are comfortable and make it easy to secure to what ever body part you need to treat. Fourth, because you slip the insert into a sleeve in the neoprene wrap, you don't need to bother with a towel or anything else between the cold insert and your skin - the insert offers just enough so that the cold isn't painful but not so much that you can't feel the cold. I'm using one right now on my elbow. Haven't used them for heat yet but I expect them to be just as good for warmth as they are for cold.

I was a little skeptical that this wrap would fit me even though it gave the dimensions, sometimes products aren't always what they say they are. This XL wrap fit me perfect. I wear a 2X size shirt. The other thing I was pleased about was that my other ice packs fit in the separate Velcro bag as well so I don't have to go and buy extras although I might want to if the icepack from Active Wrap stays cold longer. I haven't tried it yet as when I got it delivered, I immediately wanted to try it out. I threw the active wrap ice pack in the freezer and put my two small packs into the separate active wrap bag. Then the bag velcros to the inside of the wrap. You can actually use the wrap by itself for some support but it is not specifically a "back brace".I then walked out and asked my husband if he could see or notice the wrap under my clothing and he said no, he couldn't tell I had it on. Now I do wear my t-shirts and blouses un-tucked so this helps. I am just glad that I can now go places and still receive ice therapy to help me walk longer. I have a grade 4 tear in my L4/L5 disc and am awaiting surgery. I am sure this wrap will help after surgery as well. Oh and one more thing, I used this with my TENS unit with no problems.****edited one week later****I wanted to mention that the inner pouch is very thin and does not protect your back from the cold as much as I would like. It is a nylon material and with either the active wrap ice pouch or others, I have to put another towel between it and my skin for at least the first 10 min. Same goes for the hot. I think they should change the material and make it out of cotton to help. I changed my 5 stars to 4 because of this.

I was so impressed with this wrap and the ice pack that came with it. The wrap stayed attached while I worked and I loved the fact that it can be used heated or cold . I HIGHLY recommend this if you get any kind of back injury.

I purchased this Active Wrap Back Wrap System for a recently badly pulled lower back muscle. It is helping ice and warm the area but I need more ice packs in the XX Large size as I ordered the XX Large wrap in this and I don't think Amazon sells the Active Wrap XX Large ice packs. I'm a good sized gal and it fits well. I'm also losing weight so it will fit even more perfect when I do. I have the Shoulder Wrap System from this company and it is keeping me out of the operating room for an old, undiagnosed rotator cuff tear. Works excellent for taking down inflammation. I had a total knee replacement in July 2019 and bought the Active Wrap Knee System at that time and it was a lifesaver then as icing the knee after a replacement is a requirement of my Dr. I believe in the Active Wrap products and highly recommend them. They are quality products and worth every penny. I couldn't be happier with them.

The belt was a nice fit. I didn’t think the ice packs stayed cold long enough. However I don’t think I used them properly. I had no idea that the packs were microwaveable. I’ll try again and update this review. I’m certain it’s me and not the product.

I like this wrap but be warned, if you order the small, it is very small, I'm 5'2", petite and it just fits. Nice shape to it though so it holds the gel pack better than most of those floppy wraps out there.

Works equally well hot or cold. Fits snugly under a sweater and is not noticeable when out. Nice helpful product.
