Significantly brighter, good value
These GU10 bulbs do give significantly more light than the standard bulb and for that reason they are good value.We have a large kitchen with 15 downlights but when we painted the walls a slightly darker colour we felt the room needed more lighting. I bought a pack of 12 of these bulbs and just changing 4 of them made a big difference.

Nice and bright
I usually not giving feedback because i don't want to leave negative feedback but this bulb is really good nice and bright i have another 10 spotlights in the room but this one is covering them all its make the room bright and nice.

Extremely bright....My kitchen is like that scene in Sunlight where the sun ionizes everything and adegio in D minor kicks in and sends shivers down your spine..I turned my kitchen light on at night once, and next doors cockerel thought it was a good time to wake the neighborhood... 4am. I only needed a wee.I have 15 spotlights in my kitchen, overkill doesn't even begin to cover it. Old halogen when I installed.One of these bad boys would probably do! Long lasting too! Very good.

Purchased 28 and very happy.
In total I purchased 28 of these GU10 lights and it’s definitely white as warm light makes my ambiance dull. Its been 1.6 years not a single issue and really bright.

Time will tell how long they last
I have LAP GU10 lights which have lasted years, but they are dim and too yellow looking, with an uneven light spread that is too narrow. I got these to replace them.Firstly, there are no vents/fins on the bulbs. Bulbs get hot, and leaving them on for long periods in an enclosed space may build up enough heat to reduce their lifespan. My LAP ones have lots of them and they are only 4W. It may be that they are perfectly find, I guess time will tell.Secondly, these things are BRIGHT! This is great if you are a photographer or film maker and don't have room to set up too many soft boxes. It really floods the room with light and at 4000k I set my white balance on my cameras to match it, and it was perfect. A little on the magenta side but barely noticable and easily fixed in software. The light spread is very uniform natural, thanks to a soft filter inside which means you don't have hot spots. Light is nice and balanced.I have only tested about half of them so far as I didn't need that many. They are a great price so I'm not that bothered. I will just have plenty of spares to last the rest of my life, lol.Only downside is that they are a little big to retro fit my holes. To remove them it's a bit of a pain and I end up pulling the outer part down so I can push them out of the hole. I think this has been the case for all my LED GU10s though.

Bright
The lights are bright and beautiful - just what I needed for winter blues. I feel like I have a new kitchen! The colour of the lights are perfect - they are not too warm or the blue/white (which can give me an instant migraine). These are bright and make me feel energetic and I want them all over my house!
