Lift the Flap Bible

Nice quality flip book. Bright colours. Wonderful depiction of bible stories. Lift the flap element add fun. So delighted I have bought five of these for young family members and friends children.

I bought this for my daughter who loves this book and all of the flaps inside it. It is very good quality and enjoyable to read. My daughter enjoyed it so much that her actual first word ended up being "bible". As we liked this book so much we bought it for a gift for our friends little boy for his christening. It is lovely to look at, lots of flaps to keep younger ones interested and educational too. Would recommend.

My 3 year old has recently started at an RC Nursery and do is learning all about her religion and biblical stories/prayers. This book was very well received and she is starting to piece stories in school with this book. There are so many flaps to lift and each page is a new short story. Wonderful to carry on the learning at home. We’re not by any mean devout catholics, but it’s nice for us to continue at home what she is learning in school.

Good illustrations and there are plenty of flaps. The stories are softened and very condensed. But I don't think lots of details are necessary for small children as they can ask questions and get further answers and explanation from their parents if they wish. It's definitely a good into book to the bible and Jesus for a little one. However, our 1 year old could easily tare the flaps if left unsupervised so I'd recommend for maybe 2+

Thai book is so cute and fun. My little one loves a flap book. I already have a first bible for my little one and I thought did I need to get this but this is written different so it’s still like readying another book which is great. He doesn’t even let me finish ready before he lifts all the flaps lol what a joy

When I first found this book on Amazon it went directly into my basket.Once I had received the book, I started using it straight away with my toddler and it is beautifully illustrated.There are plenty of exciting 'lift the flap' sections on each page, however I would suggest going through the book and breaking the seal of each lift the flap before reading it with your toddler to avoid boredom/frustration.Highly recommend and really lovely.

A really lovely book for my 3 year old. The pictures are wonderfully illustrated and there are lots of different sized flaps to keep my daughter’s interest. I’m impressed with how much biblical content is included. One story per page with a small paragraph to explain in easy terms to understand.

The cover came with a little rip but the damage wasn't too bad. The book is very cute! The pictures are nice and there are lots of fun flaps to play with. They are somewhat hidden and hard to find for little ones though.

So pleased with this book. The pages are cardboard thick, well illustrated and meaningful. 10 stories across both sides in all. Thankyou amazon.

Non è facile approcciare la Bibbia con i bimbi molto piccoli, ma questo libro può aiutare. Sono rappresentati metà episodi dall'Antico testamento e metà dal nuovo, con un breve testo che accompagna ogni tavola. Il testo è adatto ai bambini, ma non è romanzato o sdolcinato.Le alette sono disposte in modo interessante, anche se la forma in sé non è molto creativa (rettangoli, soprattutto). Le illustrazioni sono bimbesche, ma tutto sommato ragionevolmente coerenti a ciò che sappiamo dei tempi della Bibbia (costumi, colori, paesaggi).A mio figlio (3 anni) è piaciuto, al di là di avere classificato il Noè in copertina come "Santa Claus" ed essere rimasto perplesso quando gli spiegato che no, non era Babbo Natale…Stampa e rilegatura di qualità e robusta. Amazon e corriere impeccabili come sempre: consiglio il prodotto.

This book is perfect for the kid who is in between “the Rhyming bible” (18 months to 2 years) and the Jesus Storybook Bible (3.5/4 years old). My 3.5 year old has a hard time sitting for the Jesus Storybook bible but I like this one because we can either read the very short stories, of she can just life the flaps while I short-hand tell her the stories. Really, both of my kids are at the age where *sometimes* they let me read the stories, but mostly they want to lift the flaps (3.5 and 16 months). I don't mind because they really like the book and how *many* flap are there for them to flip. Someday we will read more the text. I have read it myself and Sally Lloyd Jones (again) does a fantastic job of making bible stories interesting and understandable for children and adults alike.
