Good decade for music
Many well-known and a few lesser known tracks from the 1980s with 2 great tracks from ZZ TOP. Good value, many thanks.

Too Many Obscure Tracks And Not Enough Hits
I received this CD recently as a gift from a relative. I thought that it was okay, for the relatively cheap price and there are some good songs on here, including John Parr's St Elmo's Fire, which doesn't seem to be on many other compilations. However, this album is far from perfect. While there are a reasonable amount of the hits, there are also quite a lot of more obscure songs that I had never heard of before and didn't like. CDs 4 and 5, in particular, featured mostly these obscure songs, so I didn't enjoy those discs as much. I hadn't heard of many of the artistes or songs on those discs, which was a shame. So, to sum up, this is only a fair CD and not particularly recommended by me. I think it would have been much better if it had included a lot more of the hits and less of the fillers. So, I only give it three stars. This is certainly not a "must have" album and I would advise any fan of the popular 80s hits to avoid this, unless you are desperate for something different. It's just not very good, sorry to say.

Not your usual 80s compilation
It’s certainly got a few of the 80s tracks you don’t usually find on these type of compilation albums. My inner goth was pleasantly surprised with some of the tracks!! The only downside for me personally was there were too many tracks I have no recollection of. I suspect they will grow on me tho as I love the 80s decade for music!!
