As I have a nice ukulele collection I have to do every thing I can to look after them,I now have one of these humidifiers in each case, and am not prepared to take that chance of the wood drying out and crackingI would highly recommend.

I have a concertina that was built in the 1890s. Before central heating. If the wood statrs to shrink then there are small leaks that cause odd tones and squeaks as air leaks from one compartment to another and can eventually lead to warping.Ideally the concertina should be kept at room temperature at abot 40% humidity.That is not possible in my cenrally heated terrace house. I keep the humidifier just damp - no more - in the concertina case. It is not ideal but gets it through the winter.

This little humidifier fits nice and snugly into my Uke case. Easy to use and clean and tidy. Hopefully it will provide the necessary humidity to protect my uke when I travel to Spain with it in the summer.

It's just "okay"... I bought it because I was really in a bind with my instrument not being able to have its pegs move. So I thought this would help, even just a little. It didn't. 2 days and nothing. I've used humidifiers before with my other instruments and they helped, this one didn't. I'm not sure what to do with this but I mean I guess it's okay since it stays moist for days at a time.

Sweet mother of all sponges...............it will render your mouth to a desert (not that I did that though!)But seriously once introduced to water it will do the job!!!!!

I have fitted these humidifiers in to my gig bags using hook and look tape. I have a couple of imported ukes and I hope that these will help to prevent any future warping or bowing of the instruments. You need to check them regularly, at least every 10 to 14 days as the sponges dry out pretty quickly. It is a pretty low tech solution and only time will tell if it is at all effective.

With the unusual hot weather we are having I searched for a small humidifier and was delighted to purchase 2 of them

Good value and simple to use. Appears to work and increased the humidity in my ukelele case slightly. No leaks so far.
