This is already my second device from PETKIT. I'm technical guy and I'm very happy to see that there is a lot of good features and thoughts in this product. The funnel and the rotating disc can be dismantled completely for easy cleaning. Smart programming make this device flawless. And the customer service is fast and great. Already used them a few times and always got a good answer back.Stay away from unknown brands with no customer support and a cheesy app.

I used the same tried and true feeder for 5 years (still attached and can’t get rid of it, no I won’t talk to my therapist about it). My old girl decided her Rx kibble is only good sometimes. This dual hopper is amazing because I can alternate and/or drop both without mixing. She gets more of the one she needs, less of the one she doesn’t (like going to McDonald’s but getting a salad?) she stays excited about her food, I can track her eating and it’s much quieter when the kibble drops which is not something I thought or necessarily cared about but WOW it’s great not jumping twice a day every day when the foods released now. The removable metal bowl is great, my cat does not like them and all of her other bowls are ceramic so we don’t have any issues there. This this is sturdy af, love the app, honestly after a little over a month of use and A LOT of random meal changes, I can’t think of one thing I don’t like about this feeder. It does not have an option to record anything but as my cat was already used to a feeder (and I was tired of hearing my voice 2x/day for 5 years, I was totally fine with the beep instead which you can also turn off. I’ve also now purchased the fountain and love it. I’ve recommended the solo feeder and fountains to many friends and no one’s been disappointed yet!

This was my fault because I didn't read the description in depth. I was needing a feeder with 2 separate hoppers. But what I didn't read was that there is only one bowl. It didn't occur to me that a dual hopper feeder would only have one bowl. Once I received it I knew it wouldn't work since one cat is on regular food and the other is on prescription food. I never used the machine so I cannot attest to it's usability.

We took a road trip for 2 weeks and needed to separate the baby cats from the adult cats, so we set up the downstairs to be the younger cats area and the upstairs as the older cats area, this feeder required almost no filling while we were gone using 6 portions 3 times a day(after some fine tuning), we monitored it and the litter box via a camera just in case the food was eaten too quickly or fill up too much we could increase or decrease the feed amount on the road. Or in marbles (the cat) case, little piggy would eat everything and leave nothing so I’d set 2 portions to go then 5-10 minutes later we’d schedule the other 4 portions for the other cats, he was done and wasn’t interested, so instead of pigging out we were able to manage individual cat portions.
