Don't yet know about durability, wish they had done a fuzzy hair version like back in the 70's, otherwise its probably the best newer design in terms of quality.

The figure itself came with no accessories, not even a cap badge. It's as basic as it comes. The proportions are strange, particularly the leg length, making other action man clothing non compatible. The body mouldings are over exaggerated, I doubt there's a service person in the world with a physique like this. It may be called an action man, but not from my memory, could and should have done a lot better for the money.

the lists on box states it comes with a belt, but it sadly doesn'tgreat figure full of old memories, shame it doesn't have stiff hands like the original.

Used this figure for displaying some uniforms that need a figure to hold a gun properly

After the very basic body(limited articulation and short arms)on the previous iterations from a couple of years ago,Art And Science have listened to the criticism and used a much better one for this range.Thirty points of articulation means that this Action Man is now the most poseable he's ever been.The uniform is high quality(but simple design),the head sculpt is perfect,and the scale dog tags are a lovely touch.The only downsides are the non descript box(it really needs a much more colourful and dynamic design),and the lack of any real accessories.Now,if only they could give us carded uniforms and weapons to go with the basic figures......

My dad was a collector of the older action man and really does like these classic style figures ; I myself had the 90s action man but they sucked. I've moved onto hot toys figures now but glad I have the opportunity to get these for my father makes xmas / birthdays easy ! The repro ones licenced by those who know...ifykyk....were just display pieces these can be posed ; uniforms changed without damaging and the new style body is great !
