Arita Ritek 8x Pink Top Dual Layer DVD+R Pack Of 25

A very good double layer DVD R disc. I used a Arita 50 pack for the first time and have had no problems with the recordings. This is my second purchase. Some people mention that some DVD R discs fail.. I record on computer and also 2 Panasonic DVD recorders. The reason I think that when discs fail, is that burning at High Speed might be the reason, which I never do..When I have used High Speed and looked at the mirror side of the disc after a High Speed recording, one can see dark circular areas on the disc, and the result was failure. From then on, I always used an SP (real time recording) and have never had any more problems with any branded makes that I use.

I've been using these discs since 2009, and the stuff I've backed up still works perfectly today, recommended! And they look cool too! Don't forget to use a thin black DVD pen like Staedtler or something. Only had a few discs go wrong, more my fault than the brand. And 25 DL Discs for under a tenner, you can't go wrong!Right that's my review completed, off to purchase another pack!I always use MS PC's to burn my stuff. I never use rubbish Apple products so can't comment on Apple burning software and OS. But for Vista or Windows 7 NP!

I have purchased a number of different brand DL discs recently so I could see whether the cheaper ones were value for money and I've found these absolutely terrible. Tried burning on all supported speeds, and on 3 different drives, and every disc fails to burn at different points in the burning process. Some of the other brands work fine so I know my drivers are operating correctly. So far with these I've used 10 discs and every one has been a failure.

Arrived promptly, although unpacking was awkward with lots of packing tape! Excellent value discs allowing duplicating of a recording of a 90 minute concert to help choir members to learn their parts.
