Does have that plush hotel feel. The quality is there. Are they worth £35? Probably not. Are they lovley to sleep on? Definitly. The also make a great 2nd anniversary present...cotton.

I always buy 1000 thread sheridan bed linen. These are to replace pillowcases I bought in 2009!!

Excellant quality, a great buy; however, with fluctuating Amazon prices and at the time of writing it is showing that these pillow cases cost £35 a pair, when I bought them for just £22. Are they worth £35? Possibly. They are definitely worth £22 because the product oozes quality and they will no doubt last a good number of years. I own some Dorchester 1000 thread count bedding too but the Sheridans 1000 TC definitely has the edge.

Stiff to start with but beautifully soft after 20 or so washes. Very well made and somehow "classy". This size fits the usual sort of pillow.

Bought these because the other reviews seemed nearly unanimous in their praise. Out of the package they felt fairly smooth which was a good sign. Put them in the washing machine on their own (as the instructions suggested) and they came out feeling quite rough. They actually feel worse than a cheap pillowcase. Just wish I hadn't washed them as I'd return them otherwise.

Thought these were expensive for 2 pillow cases butin this case you do get what you pay for.For feel and comfort - these are the best pillow casesI've ever owned.I've already bought a second set.

Was going to buy 1000 thread from John Lewis but they didn't have Kingsize at the time so having had Sheridan before and pleased with it we took a gamble which paid off. Luxurious feel and excellent quality manufacture
