Best coffee out there!
My go to coffee bean! It is always fresh and perfectly roasted. The taste is like magic in the morning and so is the smell as it brews. I buy the Colombian whole bean, it is the perfect blend of caffeine and just the right strength to get me going. Unlike some other brands this is roasted just right so the acidity content is very low and causes no issues. I order on Amazon when my local stores either run out or the price goes to high! It is $5.00 cheaper on Amazon than at my local store.

Delicious
It's good, but it takes a while to get the right grind. A medium grind seems best, using four tablespoons, scant for a weaker pot or heaping for a strong one.

Good stuff.
Beans looked good (as expected.) Good amount for the price. Saved me a trip 40 minutes away to the nearest place that sells it without price gouging.

Good low-cost coffee
I was used to drinking very pricey Sumatra Mandheling coffee and loved the rich flavor, but the price kept going up, and it has become too much of a luxury for me to buy. After researching cheap coffee options, it became clear to me that Eight O'Clock 100% Colombian Peaks was the best bang for the buck. It doesn't have the rich, earthy undertones and mouthfeel of Sumatra Manheling, but it's better than a lot of cheap coffee. It has a rather thin, one-dimensional flavor in my humble opinion. Using more doesn't help, because if too much is used, it tends to have a rather sour taste. UPDATE*** I figured out how to fix the sour taste. I did some reading, and I saw this... "One common cause of sour coffee is under extracting during the brewing process. This happens when not enough flavor is taken out of the coffee grounds while brewing. The longer your coffee brews, the more sugars are extracted from the grounds, making the coffee taste sweeter." My Ninja coffee maker has a "rich" setting, which gives more time for the extraction to happen. After brewing a pot on this setting, it was like magic; the coffee tastes remarkably better! Decent, cheap coffee on a budget.

A+ Coffee
The packaging for this coffee is excellent, with a reliable seal and valve that keep the beans fresh. Upon opening the bag, the aroma is a standout—notes of dark chocolate and wine dominate, with a smoothness that is not overly roasty. It's an amazing aroma that draws you in right away. The beans are uniform in color and have a good level of oil, though I did notice a few husks here and there - not a big deal considering this is a blend. The roast accuracy is spot-on, delivering a perfect medium roast as advertised. In terms of flavor, it has a medium body and a high, vibrant acidity that makes each sip lively. The taste is subtle yet distinct, with fruity and earthy notes reminiscent of wine. I didn't expect to enjoy the winey flavor as much as I did, but it really works and adds a unique dimension to the cup. The smoothness is consistent, though there’s a slight bitter tail that balances it out nicely. Overall, the flavor profile is exactly as described on the packaging, and I could easily drink this coffee all day. With cream, this Columbian Peaks truly shines. Cream enhances the flavors, making the wine-ish qualities even more enjoyable and adding richness to the cup. This coffee is probably my favorite right now and definitely the best I’ve tried in far too long. The quality and flavor are outstanding for the $8 price tag, and I would strongly recommend it to absolutely anyone because it's just that good. Overall grade: A+.

An enjoyable cup of coffee.
This is my first time using this brand of coffee bean. I use the beans to make cold brewed coffee. Using 1 cup of ground French Roast beans to half a gallon of water yielded a nice full bodied cup of coffee without the acidity associated with medium roasts. I will purchase again.

As Good As It Ever Was
I have always favored boldly flavored, dark roasted coffee. A few years ago, I saw this in the store and just went insane over the richness. The aroma was intoxicating. Since then, I had become lax in my coffee making ritual, having settled for the quickness of a Keurig and whatever dark roast K-cups are on sale. When I go to work in the morning, I just don't have time to make a proper cup of coffee. On the weekends, however, I have gone back into the habit of using my French press. If I have the time, it is my preferred way of making coffee. The Italian dark roast is not as easy to find in stores as it once was, but I thought, "Why not try Amazon?" They had it and this coffee is as good as I remember. I used to treat myself to Starbucks Sumatra, but when I tried this, I found a new favorite flavor. Sumatra is good, but I personally prefer 8 O'Clock Italian Dark Roast. For the record, I do not think it is better BECAUSE it is less expensive. I think that it is better AND IT JUST SO HAPPENS to be less expensive. Now if there are better, more expensive dark roasts out there, I would not hesitate to treat myself. But if you want a good, dark roast without spending a lot, I highly recommend it.
