Large Portable Ice Baths *Dec 2023 Upgrade* For Recovery/Cold Water Therapy Tub/Outdoor/Ice bath Tub For Athletes/Folding Bathtub Adult/Plunge Pool

I've been using this tub for two weeks now. I didn't want to invest a lot of money, but wanted to see if ICE baths were something I would do as part of a healthy fitness program. Easy to assemble, I filled with water, and added bromine tablets to keep it sanitized. I take 1 qt storage containers and fill them directly from the ice bath and refreeze. I just put the ice in the tub and smash with a hammer to break up the ice and stir the bath water to about 47 degrees. This does the trick! I'm 6' 2" and I fit in the tub with bent knees, but I'm able go up to my shoulders. I can dunk my head if I lean in sideways. I do my 5 minute sessions, almost every day now. It took me about two weeks of use and I feel my energy is just amazing. I always had high energy, "I work in health care and have super busy days", but now I have even more energy, if this is even possible? I don't get tired during my workday, at all. I did notice I felt amazingly refreshed after a ice bath session, but after two weeks its really noticeable. If you're the kind of person who enjoys caring for your health, and are looking for holistic options and new experiences, then you will really enjoy the Ice bath journey. I set mine up in the garage, in the corner. I do breathing exercises prior to plunging. I can see myself purchasing a self chilling product in the future, as prices will come down, as people want ice baths and they increase in popularity. For now, however, this product is a perfect size, easy to use, clean, set up, and is not intimidating. Its well built and doesn't cost $2500 -$5000 dollars, which is ridiculous, in my opinion, to get the thrill of ice bathing. I would recommend this product, as I have already enjoyed this experience myself, with improvements in physical and mental well being in just the first two weeks of using.

Dont waste your money! So, this is actually the second ice bath from this company for me in the last 45 days. First one arrive missing parts, so I took a chance and ordered another replacement. It came, with all the parts at least. That was 34 days ago. Exactly 4 days past when I could return this garbage for a refund. Yes, I used it, yes, it seemed ok, although the inflatable upper rim never really holds a good inflate. Today, I walked out of my house to use it and walla...ripped, water leaking and I am done. I have tried to call Amazon to get a refund, no luck with their excuses about being overwhelmed with callers. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I will be enjoying spreading that word on every platform I can find.

As an active person and someone that's training for a marathon, I've wanted to get a portable ice bath for recovery. I'm a couple of months into my training program and was starting to feel the mileage on my legs. After a little bit of time researching all the different companies out there I ran across this Explore Ice tub. It was exactly what I was looking for so I sent it. First, this tub was SUPER EASY to set up it took me less than 5 minutes to get it going!! After filling it up with water and putting in 2 bags of 16lbs ice I was in the tub and lasted for 10 minutes. I've only used it once but I'm already starting to feel my body react to the ice therapy, my muscles were not as sore the next day and I had a great night of sleep! Also, draining the tub and taking it down took no time at all. All in all, it probably took less than half an hour from set up, to the ice bath therapy and taking it down. Not bad for all the benefits!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tub to everyone looking to get into ice baths especially athletes.

This is the second one I have received, both broken. First one I received had a hole where the inflatable ring was stitched to the side wall and after returning that one... the second one I received had a hole in the sidewall started leaking the second I started to fill it up with water. Very cheap made product. Definitely not worth it!!!!!

I was inspired by the Wim Hoff Method for body and mental health, so I purchased this portable ice bath as a way to get started. I thoroughly enjoyed this product for the first 45 days, it was easy to fill up. Was able to fit my 5'7"/140lb body up to my neck. And was super easy to setup and clean with the included drain. Aesthetically the black exterior locked better than most of the other portable bath tubs for sale on Amazon. However 45 days of daily morning ice plunges the wall of the product broke on its own when I wasn't using it. This is similar to other reviewers' experiences and pictures. Hoping the seller sees this and makes things right just like some of the other reviewers, since this is honestly a 5 star product for helping me get into the ice bath routine but just disappointed that it broke so soon.

My poles snapped the first time using. Today I opened my box and set everything up. Everything was going great until 2 of the poles snapped. Great investment for athletes like myself but the poles need to be a little stronger.

I am doing this review about 6 months after purchasing. The good: Durability. It actually has a double lining of some sort. I had bought a cheaper brand and it leaked the first time i used it. I did tear this one while cleaning it. there was a bit of water in the bottom left over and i pulled it up to dump it and it tore in a small area. Also got a tear from an huge ice cube. I simply got a pool repair kit and patched it. The multiple layers allowed me to keep it even after that tear. The cheaper one i could not repair. Size: It's big and you can sit in it comfortably. I'm 6', 220. The bad: The inflation ring at the top is not that good. people are right to be disappointed in it. Compared to what else is out there i think it may be a bit over priced. I would buy it again at a lower price. The only reason I deducted a star is the price. I would buy again at around 50-70 USD
