Good quality and very supportive.
I was recently diagnosed as having Plantar Fasciitis. The doctor advised anti inflammatory gel, massage and insoles or good supportive shoes. I purchased a pair of 3/4 insoles from the limited selection in a local chemist store. They did give relief, but I found that they moved inside my shoe. Although not entirely successful they did prove that insoles could quickly relieve the pain - I just needed to find better quality, full insoles. It was while I was searching for a foot massager on Amazon that I came across the FootActive brand. I ordered these and also another cheaper brand. The FootActive ones were the first ones to arrive. I'm on my feet all the time I'm at work in a warehouse, so I put them in my work safety shoes. The relief was instant and I felt an improvement in my general posture too! When the cheaper insoles arrived I noticed that the main difference was that the arch support was not quite as high or firm as the FootActive ones, but they were perfectly OK for my general shoes. The FootActive ones will stay in my work shoes, where my feet need the most help. The instructions do suggest that initially, wear them for a couple of hours at a time, to get used to them. I did not find this necessary. At first the arch support does feel high, but after a few minutes, once my shoes and feet have warmed, they feel very comfortable.

Good product - very well made
As a size 4 I did not have to trim insoles as they are a perfect fit which was really good. As I have only just started using them it is a bit early to tell if they really work, which is why they have been given a 4 star not 5. They are certainly very comfortable and I think over time they will really help my foot pain.

Helped when didn’t have an arch
Fantastic product and actually work. My son is flat footed and no aches at all. Since wearing these for a few years we have finally seen an arch developing which is a big achievement! They are so light to wear too!

Good fit in my walking boots. Hard arch support, could do with a softer upper fabric..
Fitted in my size 4 walking boots perfectly.I've been suffering with ball of foot pain. On initially putting my foot on the insert, I wondered how on earth I was going to be able to walk two steps let alone a full hike. The feel of the arch support is hard. However it seems to have put my foot at a slightly different angle and I soon found my ball of foot was more comfortable. My arch however is a bit sore.Could do with a more comfortable top layer to cushion the foot.More pricey than some.

Achilles tendinitis/ ankle rolls in
My ankles roll in which has resulted in a muscle injury which required a lot of physio. I was advised by my physiotherapist that I will need to wear insoles in all my shoes to prevent any further injuries as I am a very active person. Bought these after using Langer ones in my running trainers. Langer are the recommended make of private physiotherapists (I think NHS too) but they are very expensive so I wanted a different type for my casual trainers. After reading a lot of reviews I settled for these ones. Really pleased to say that they do hold my ankles up straight and take the strain off. I didn't need to wear them in either as they were really comfortable straight away. I wear them in wide fitting converse style trainers (rocket dog make) and they only needed trimming slightly. Planning on buying more for other trainers and the 3/4 version for smart flats.

Well worth the money!
My son suffers from over-pronation and as a result complained a lot about leg and foot pain. I bought these after researching and they arrived and I was able to put them straight in his shoes no cutting required. He said they were uncomfortable for about half an hour then got used to them. He's been wearing them for a couple of weeks now and hasn't complained about being in pain once yet! Will definitely be buying them again.

Hard like a wood for the front of the foot.
Disappointed. The shape is great but there is no cushioning on front of the foot, they become very hard after few uses. Perhaps if you can put over existing insole, but for me the heal would be too high. Why didn’t they put the soft bit at the front too?? It really would be good insole!
