If the container was tinted the birds would have found the seeds quicker.
Because the container was clear it took the birds ages to work out where to get the seeds. I previously used a tinted green water bottle and they had no problem. However, this feeder kept the seeds dry and there was very little wastage. All in all a very good product.

Unsettled the birds
I'm not sure the birds who come to feed in my garden like the colour of this feeder. Bought to replace the worn out ones I've only seen one bird on this feeder in 3 weeks. Normally sparrows are queuing up to feed. The food is the same so it's not that. I think the colour is too bright for the birds liking.

Ok but hinges flimsy
Top flimsy hinges birds have found how to open it by breaking hinges. This is ok otherwise, unfortunately haven’t been able to fix problems. Birds might 😋

Light weight feeder, good strung up on a high line
This is a lightweight feeder and would be destroyed by squirrels if they could reach it. I bought it because it is so light I can hang it high up on a line between two trees......out of squirrel reach!

Good feeder for small birds.
Good feeder for the small birds , other than the lid is already almost broken off it’s good value for money ( you only get what you pay for ).

not worth the money
I thought these would be a good purchase with Alan Titchmarsh's name but i was wrong. The cheap plastic lid is very flimsy and will easily break. The birds seem to avoid this feeder they seem to struggle to get the food out and also i have to keep shaking the feeder to get the food to fall down.Not recommended.

Easily Breakable
Bought this because I saw the 5 stars, branded Name, however when it came I assembled it and straight away the top 2 perches split the plastic making them loose, managed to sort of make them work, when putting in the seed could not get it to fill past the top 2 holes as the seeds just poured out of them. Hung outside with just a few seeds in, on returning 2 days late birds had obviously tried to land on the perches and had broken off. Can't believe this product is still on sale and AT has put his name to it

GREAT BUT BIRDS IGNORE MINE!
SUPER FOR THE MONEY I PUT TWO UP AND AFTER MANY WEEKS NOT A SINGLE BIRD HAS USED AND WE HAVE 100’S OF BIRDS IN AND OUT EVERY DAY THEY SEEM TO PREFER FLOOR OR SHED ROOF? MAYBE WILL KICK IN WHEN WINTER ARRIVES
