The wire used to shape these card holders is really solid and thick. I was expecting these to be a little more flexible, but I am glad they aren't. They can still bend if you need to adjust them but will hold their shape well. I am using them to stand up rocks and hold identification cards in place in a little display I have in my living room. The container they come in is a little inconvenient because the card holders have to be laying perfectly flat for the container to close. Once you pull one card holder out, they all try to come with. I am not using that container and have dumped the extras into a baggie for easier storage.

I wouldn’t go larger than an index card with these. They’re very light weight and small, so perfect for name tags at a dining table or I used them for index cards (2 per card sideways) to display information got an art show.If it’s outside with a breeze, they won’t hold up very well. Too light.

These are great if you like a minimal look to your place settings. I bought them for our wedding but didn't end up using them because I ran out of time and didn't get around to making place cards but they're cute and the price is great. They bend easily so you can stand things more upright or laid back.
