This product does what it says - boils water.But - due to a design issue, when water is boiling (before it cuts out) steam is directed over the buttons. Can be painful. Avoid this and it's fine.The supplied cups are too small for me - but not sure if they're much use anyway as they are thin, light and small - both fit inside the kettle so may be better than nothing.

Wow! Ordered Thur at 18.52, arrived Fri by 08.30 by Amazon Prime next day delivery! Filled it immediately to check it out! It boiled quickly and very quietly which is perfect for an early cuppa when travelling with someone who likes a lie in! The lid fits with a click and opens easily for filling. It pours without splashing or dribbling. A generous capacity which is ideal for my 1 litre flask too for day trips, the other 400 or 500ml kettles would have taken 2 lots to fill it; the milk will top up the rest of the room.The cups that stack inside are ideal for a small brew and if travelling very light but if you do take a bigger mug then they are ideal for standing the coffee, tea and sugar sachets in.Someone mentioned that it needs to cool down before packing, but I filled it with cold water after it had boiled and let it stand for a few minutes and it cooled quite quickly.Overall a very well priced little kettle which will be so useful and perfect for trips abroad. I wish I had realised before I went away to Austria that they do not have tea making facilities in many hotel rooms in Europe Just don't forget your travel plug!

Great size for travelling, boils rapidly. Nice bonus with the 2 cups and the carry bag included.

Worked really well but after less than two years' use it failed.

Brought on holiday to Spain, as hotel did not supply one. stuffed teabags and coffee in the cups enough to last me the week. The milk I was able to get was UHT so I only was able to use it in the coffee as it tasted horrid in the tea. Great little kettle with two cups, made sure i packed it in-between my clothes to protect in transit. don't forget to pack an adaptor.

Nice little kettle with the English plug. We are taking it abroad so will use an adapter for France. Just in case there isnt one in the hotel room.The cups store inside the kettle and has a handy travel bag to put your kettle in. Stores nicely in your suitcase and is very light weight.It has a 2 year guarantee ( I know shocked me too for such a low price). It has universal voltage so can be used at home or abroad. Automatic safety cutoff. It isnt cordless and it hasnt got a long wire.The kettle is about 7" high by 7" at the widest part and 3" on the narrow front bit. The cord is about 26". The cup is just under 3"long and 3" wide.It is a power on light at the top where you push a button to switch on & off.The 2 year guarantee is covered by phillips.I knocked a star off as even though it looks good quality there is a bit (which is nothing really) that looks like the plastic join was not finished correctly.

Really good kettle, perfect for travelling & would recommend this too anyone looking. I’ve had others but this is one of the better ones. Good boil time too tried it out at home. Quick delivery too.

This is not that fast to boil in Canada (about 15-20 mins) but not the fault of the kettle, just the 110 volt standard. However this kettle is almost twice the capacity of any other travel kettle ) 0.9L vs 0.5L. I'm sure that in Europe 220 volts, this kettle would score 5 stars.

I bought it mainly because it is universal. Not bad. very light weight for travelling
