Must use 8 times the amount that is usual to set your milk and multilple unnecessary ingredients
Will not buy again for 2 reasons: 1) is more expensive in the long run when you have to use 2 tsps to set one gallon of milk rather than 1/4 tsp as is usual with most brands of animal rennet and 2) I am purchasing animal rennet - I don't need chickpeas, split wheat, or curd whey as ingredients.

Rotten.
I got this product and almost poisoned my family using it. It smelled awful and had mold in the cap and was green!!!! I learned it was spoiled after trying to make cheese and realizing the rennet was bad. Had to look up what it's actually supposed to look like and smell like.

Olor y aspecto desagradable.
El producto lo compre cerca de 5 meses, a pesar de que el producto vence en julio del 2024 y de que dice, que refrigere al abrirlo, lo mantuve refrigerado, pero al abrirlo tiene un olor desagradable y un aspecto espumoso, desconozco si son normal estas características de olor y aspecto, lo acabo de usar en galón de leche, estoy a la espera de ver los resultados, por lo general, utilizo pastillas de cuajo vegetal que trae 10 pastillas y cada pastilla rinde para 50 litros de leche, muy económicas en costo y rendimiento, comparados con este producto, que solo alcanza para hacer 5 libra de queso aproximadamente, no justifica la relación costo-rendimiento...

The stench is awful as no other rennet I have worked with smells. This is not normal.
The stench is unbearable comparable to a dead animal or putrid flatulence. Am familiar with rennet & it's not normal for it to smell this bad.

Spoiled. Gross. Don't order this.
Like the other review, this item arrived spoiled. Smelled like a dead animal, the cap appeared not well sealed. Should have read the reviews before ordering....

Arrive spoiled. Didn't need refrigeration until after opening. Still foul.
First the product was spoiled. Second, it was twice as expensive and required 8 times the amount of my usual rennet to set cheese.

Received spoiled broken jar
Jar was broken, the second I got close to the package I could smell the nastiest odor, had to throw away.
