DAYS OF DARKNESS is a dbl cd of TESTAMENT. Its a redoing of older tracks that sound heavier and louder and clearer than when they were first done. I got this dbl cd cheap and if ur a fan of THRASH METAL or just gr8 HEAVY METAL OLD STYLE go get it.

previous to buying this album i only owned one other testament album which is the ritual which is really good but i must admit ive overlooked testament as an alternative to slayer mettalica etc i bought this because it was a bargain price and it sounded interesting reading the reviews well im glad i did the first disc which is testaments later stuff is good its heavier and more death metal than thrash but its still very fast in places but the second disc is absolutley brilliant tracks from their first two albums re hashed i have not heard the originals but i dont think these modern versions could be beaten its great the first disc gets three stars the second five stars hence the four stars if youre like me and havent got much testament music in your collection then buy this you wont be dissapointed

What we have here is a 2 disc set of Testament, Days of Darkness. Disc 1 has a conbination of some songs out of Testaments two late 90's albums Demonic and The Gathering. Disc 2 is the their album First strike still deadly which they redone songs from their first two albums The Legacy and The New Order. Good for beginners who are only getting into Testament but pointless if you are like me a fan of their music and already got the albums Demonic, The Gathering and First strike still Deadly.

Not a great deal to say about this other than if you like metal and you like it heavy, you cant really go wrong with Testament. This is a great buy, 2 disks I believe disk 2 is a re-release of one of their older albums which is good but for me its the new songs on the first disc that really make you want to smash your fist (in the best possible way of course) very fast riffing very heavy guitar tone, thundering drums, awesome gutteral(ish) vocals, its all here.

Best Album of this band, they redo this songs from the old albums in their new style and remake them and they sound awsome great album to buy. I recomend it if you are a fan of Testament the best trash band ever

The best songs from Demonic and The Gathering. Plus, some re-recordings of old goodies. Monumentally heavier than the early recordings!
