Great light
Bought 8 bulbs (4x2 packs of these) 14 months ago to replace incandescent/halogen in living and bedrooms. At least as good as a 100w bulb and produce great light, my wife didn't notice difference, I thought they were better. Only thing to note is they don't cast light upwards due to nature of housing, not an issue for us and can help direct/improve lighting where you need it. Significantly reduced energy usage, along with changing to LEDs elsewhere means our electric use is now fairly constant every month of year. Only 4 stars as after 13 months one failed and can barely have been used for 1000hrs, however, in that time I'd normally have been changing 2 or 3 incandescent bulbs so don't see it as significant cost issue at present. I'm just buying some more as haven't found better elsewhere.

Good bulbs.
I live in a 17th-century Welsh farmhouse, which has windows the size of arrow slits and stone walls two feet thick. I therefore need bright lights, unless it's really sunny outside. Until recently the only really bright bulbs to buy (assuming I'm not going to use incandescent ones) were the spiral CFL things, which are hideously short-lived, normally expiring after a few weeks or months with a flash and a rude noise. (I think that the ballast to force the bulb into instant brightness straightaway is badly designed, as these bulbs always fail on switch-on.) These LED bulbs are a lot more sensible. Firstly, they look like bulbs, not like bits of a modern sculpture, and secondly, they are (I hope) likely to hang around for a while. Certainly the light from them is very pleasant. They're also reasonably priced.

Excellent LED bulb.
These LED bulbs are an excellent replacement for anything that used a B22 bayonet fitting. They're *very* bright at 1,600 lumens, run relatively cool and should last for a good long time. I got the warm white colour which isn't too yellow or orange - I'd describe it as "summer late afternoon sun" colour. Yes these bulbs are expensive but are very good quality and should last a long time, making them excellent value for money.

Great product, Nicely packaged, Gives Good Light Output.
Great product, nicely packaged. I have several LOHAS light bulbs around my home. These 17w LED versions are nice and bright, but not quite 150watts as 1500 & 1600 Lumens is usually declared as nearly equivalent to 100w. And in my opinion these are 100w equiv, but this would not stop me from buying more of them. What I found most useful is that these bulbs are very nearly the same size as the old incandescent bulbs. They are not too big to fit inside restrictive fittings and up-lighting lamp shades. So I can finally get rid of all those awful slow lamination compact fluorescent bulbs that we all hate so much.

Very good but let down by longevity
Very bright and use no current, or virtually none. Don't expect to get more than a year out of them though, after that they start to flicker when switched on and eventually fail completely.

Actually too bright...
Good light bulbs, but I am not actually using them right now as they are too bright! My own fault - I should have bought lower power equivalents. But I am keeping these; I am sure they will come in useful somewhere soon. Cannot comment on lifespan, for obvious reasons.
