Bought this for my brother for his birthday and it's a great starting point into the world of netsuke, I believe its about the British collection aswell. A good buy

Bought for A105 Open University course - it's a fascinating little book of netsukes with some great information at the front and wonderful coloured photographs. Just what I needed. The author also does a You Tube video where she talks about this book.

a fine choice of netsukes of the British Museum; very good pictures (one or two for every netsuke), with comments that put them in their historical and artistic contexts; a good buy if you are interessed in netsukes.

Excellent book, bought as present liked it so much bought one for myself. Clear attractive pictures of the Netsuke and good detail. Would recommend.

Great little book, lovely illustrations, very informative

I was interested as i lived in the far east and have several beautiful pieces and wannted to know more about them.

Super book, full of information on Netsuke, useful for those new to the art as well as those studying items that are not easily available to view.
