Another Masterpiece by MXR ,.
I have many effect pedals for guitar and this little baby has now become one of my favourites . I already have a delay pedal but have never beenfully satisfied with it , it has always sounded little unnatural probably due to it being a digital version of delay . This sounds amazing , its a littlemore expensive than some of other makes of delay but if you have the budget to pay a little more ( £30-£40 ) more then treat yourself , you wont regret it . The delay sounds so sweet and natural and truly enhances and compliments whatever you are playing whether chords or solos . It comesin a tough compact casing to deal with the rough and the tough of giging if you are in a band . Another masterpiece from MXR .

Simple to operate, very high quality sounds.
Such variation of delays from adjusting the same three knobs. It's so much better than even expensive digital delay pedals - although perhaps they are for different audiences. I've been searching for a good, easy to operate delay pedal for ages. Once you've adjusted the (inner) modulation pot to your liking (fairly easy to do but don't reassemble until you've listened to your adjustment) you're good to go. Great value and built to last. This one is a keeper for me.

This pedal is warm, rich and just plain beautiful, and usable in every kind of music.
This pedal is warm, rich and just plain beautiful. Built like a tank and just so pretty. I have used digital delays before and gave up on them as they sounded too crisp, unnatural and clinical. This pedal is usable in every kind of music. It warms the whole sound with such a rich natural delay effect. I love this pedal. If I hadn't bought it I would buy it again. It is plainly superb.

Five Stars
Fantastic pedal with a very warm sound. Perfect for ambient or post-rock.

Lush sound but the blue light is a really stupid touch
This delay has a lush sound and is a joy to use hindered only by the insanely blue 'on' light that is so bright that in a dark room you actually cannot see the pedals settings. So whoever designed this feature obviously doesn't play guitar, never plays live in a dark club or is colour blind. I've stuck some tape on it to remind me that the designer of this pedal should stick to christmas trees. I'd give this pedal 5 stars but the light is painful so it gets only 4.In the picture attached you can see the normal calm red lights of my other pedals and the crazy stupid blue light of the MXR.

Excellent piece of kit
Good price from Amazon. Built like a brick outhouse with a (somewhat loud mechanically) footswitch, though not a problem as I play somewhat loud. Great analogue delay sound, augmented by subtle modulation when required. Haven't fiddled with the internal trim pots yet as the factory setup is fine for my requirements. Not at all harsh, as some digital delays can be. Sits nicely in my effects loop. Recommended.

It's so chrisp
You probably have to go to a shop and try this out, or like me, have seen enough youtube vids so have taken the plunge a bought one blindly. I have not regretted this at all. I did my research and found that...EHX Memory boy/toy - too complicated for a gig situation, a crowd doesn't want to see someone fiddling with knobs ;-)Boss DD series - they're good, but do I want a pedal board that looks and sounds like everyone elseThere's some expensive/better ones out there, but as a fan of analogue I'm very chuffed with what this little green machine can do.
