Perfect Motion Sensor

I have 8 x TP-Link Tapo T100 120° PIR Smart Motion Sensor with Motion-Activated Light, Energy Saving, Battery-Powered, Real-Time Notifications, Device Sharing installed at various places in home and covered outdoor. I use it to track movements in areas with Alex accouterments and control video camera or lights automation. I received 4 physically defective devices as it developed visible crack on sensor cover out of box (got it replaced twice as send time also boxed pack sensor had same issue), so make sure you inspect device as soon as you unbox it. I also had some connectivity issues with a few of the sensors, but after troubleshooting and resetting them, they have been working smoothly. The motion detection is quite accurate and the 120° PIR sensor covers a wide area, making it perfect for monitoring larger spaces. The motion-activated light is a great feature, as it helps conserve energy by only turning on when motion is detected. One of the best things about these sensors is the real-time notifications. Whenever motion is detected, I receive an instant notification on my phone, allowing me to quickly check the live feed from my security cameras or turn on the lights in that area. This has been very helpful in keeping my home secure and also saving energy by not leaving lights on unnecessarily. I also appreciate the device sharing feature, which allows me to grant access to family members or housemates so they can also receive notifications and control the sensors. This has been convenient for when I am away from home and someone needs to check on things. Overall, I am satisfied with the TP-Link Tapo T100 120° PIR Smart Motion Sensors. I recently purchased 5 Tapo Motion Sensors and I’m extremely impressed with their performance and durability. I integrated them with Home Assistant using the official Matter plugin, and it’s been fantastic! The setup is simple, and I get instant notifications whenever motion is detected. High quality motion sensor and it's haven't had a false alarm in 4-6 months even thought my other motion sensor constantly had false alarm. The tp link app is also very well made You can you a 3rd party app named ifttt to get a call when ever motion is detected

Small but mighty. Easy to setup. Works excellent and has angle of 120 degrees. Super easy to set up and works great. Just make sure to check the placement guide before you put it in. Don't place it at height above than 6 feet. Magnetic mount not that strong. LED indicator is helpful. Use long time periods for scanning intervals to save battery.
