Pitcher is great, replacement filters are very poor.
Updating Aug, 2018 - After I wrote the original poor review, I put in a new filter and have gotten 4 months out of it. I'm perplexed!! Just ordered a new one and hoping we'll get somewhere in between 3 weeks and 4 months :-) I still recommend the pitcher. Also I didn't know the company had responded to my review until today which gives me more confidence.First let me say I love this pitcher. We have very chlorinated water and these filters get rid of that and provide fresh, sweet tasting water. My issue is on the replacement filters. The original pitcher's filter worked well for almost three months. Each of the replacements has needed to be changed after only 3 weeks. From a cost perspective, it's better and cheaper to buy a new pitcher each time, which of course is ridiculous. Why the filters would be different, I have no idea. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find any other source besides Amazon for the filters so I'm stuck, but this is a major production flaw.

Dont waste your money.
I've been using the Nakii Water Pitcher system for years and at first, they were the best. Much better than the Brita. But something's happened over this last year and I'll never buy another. I replaced it with 2 BWT Vida Water Filter Pitcher With 3 Bonus 60 Day Filters and never looked back. My new water picture far outshine anything Brita or anyone else makes, and you simply cant beat the price with those bonus filters! But back to the Nakii: Yes, they were fantastic years ago, but here's what I've noticed this past year: When I first started using the system years ago, it would take a little time for the water to run through the filter. Now, water runs through the filters like there's no filter at all. I'm beginning to think there's not nearly as much filter material inside now than years ago. Water should never run though ANY filter that fast. So Nakii is out and the BWT Vida Water Filter is in!

Feel cheated
Please explain to me why coming out from a sealed bag, it is dusty. (see from the picture if me comparing the original one to this new one). If it is only dusty, I would not have complained. However, the item was clearly a fake or cheaper version of the original product, you can see the building structure is different too. The original has a slight curve in the center to allow the water to flow in, whereas this one it's just flat. That's not all, the purify material inside of the new one(or the fake one) have only half as much of what original contains. Not the mention the color is slightly different too. (who knows what are the material that's in there...)

Buyer be ware
I recently purchased a zero water pitcher so when I got the new Nakii filter I decided to do a test so I test the water in the Nakii pitcher after I replaced the filter and it measured 244ppm. Then I tested the water from the zero water and it was all zeros. The part I found really strange was when I put water from the zero water pitcher through the Nakii filter and it tested at 42ppm so the Nakii filter actually added contaminates to the water from the zero water pitcher.

Pure water!
We purchased the water pitcher and filter system for my friend, Anabel, and she used it for over a year. Then it came to me, and I've been very satisfied with the purity of the water that comes from the filtration system. Recently, we'd had some pipe breaks in our townhouse neighbourhood; as a result, I've been occasionally less trusting of the quality of our water (particularly when we have boil orders!). This pitcher and filter system has helped put our minds at ease on that. The replacement filters are very easy to use. They simply snap in place; the old one snaps out, and can be discarded. Unfortunately, it is not recyclable. However, each filter lasts a good while - at the rate of our water usages, they last from three to six months. So, huzzah for this! I'll continue to get more as needed in the future.

150 Gal?
I would thrown these out and replace them after going through the 12x3 dial on the lid.Math1800 mls = 60 oz60 oz x 36 refills of container2160 oz / 128 (oz/gal)16.875 gallonsYou’d basically have to go circle through the thing at the top ten times.I thought the taste of the water is fine.; you have to hit it every time you fill it to make sure the filter is covered by whatever the grains are on the inside. After filling it 36x, the water begins to taste odd to me.At the beginning, it filters pretty quickly, but overall, not sure it is worth it for what it is advertised as.

Great tasting water! Long lasting filters :)
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I love the water from my Nakii filter pitcher! I'm one of those picky water people, YES there IS a taste difference in waters! LolI had a Brita in the past and I actually like this water better. Plus I love the sleek design of the pitcher, and how fast the water filters through. I've been using the Nakii pitcher for 3-4 years now and the filters do seem to last much longer between replacements than the Brita I had.I also like the top flappy thing to add the water, you just have to have a tall enough faucet to get the water stream perpendicular for it to open and work correctly. I moved and have a little faucet right now so I took the flappy thing off.I recommend!**Note: Just got a new filter, my pitcher is a couple years old so may have some flaws.

Replacement filter is bad.
I was really happy with my initial purchase of the pitcher and the filter that was included. But the replacement filter is terrible - it is so much slower than the original filter. Much, much slower. I flushed it for the recommended time when I opened it. I tried shaking it like another purchaser (who also had problems with the replacement filter) suggested, which didn't help. Right now, I'm considering buying a different brand of pitcher.
