This is a very sturdy set. The colors and painting is exquisite. The pieces are easy to get apart and they fit together very well. The only thing I didn't like was that the littlest piece is very small. There is a warning on the box that states it is not intended for small children because it includes small pieces. It is a wonderful set for an adult though.

What a great way to share the true meaning of Christmas! Children love these nesting dolls and baby Jesus is adorable! Other similar items only have 5 figures, but this one has 6, which makes it much more fun.

The fabulous teacher, bless her heart, only let us know a week ahead about the Secret Santa project for the classmates in her room.Quality is good enough! We may be paying a mark up to cover getting from point A to point B. And, the other reviewers are correct, the Joesph doll won't stay closed. But it is not a cheap plastic but real wood, painted toy so it looks nice.I bought a blue Snowperson gift bag printed with scripture from the Dollar Store and an empty clear container with blue snowflakes painted on it, this Nativity gift which arrives in a blue box from Amazon. From Walgreen's (a larger location with good Christmas options), bought Dove chocolates in blue foil (gorgeous!), M&M's caramel in a blue bag, Nerd's rope that is blue-ish, and just-for-the-holidays Nestle crunch in a blue holiday wrapper. It can sometimes be hard to find religious gifts for Godchildren that they will actually use, but I’m definitely adding this one to the list. I gave it to my 3 year old Godson for Christmas and he, as well as his 5 older siblings and 4 older cousins all enjoyed playing with it. The baby Jesus is super small* and adorable and results in frequent episodes of everyone “looking for Jesus”.*Note: Baby Jesus and a few other pieces in this set are definitely small enough to be considered choking hazards for young children, so would require supervision.
