Absolutely great for the bed that my husband made for the man cave so if stays up late can just get into bed in the room

It solves a problem easily, but its sturdiness is not guaranteed

OK quality, far from some of the bad reviews. Finish is OK, not outstanding. Sturdiness is OK. Size is not 100% consistent but not that bad (maximum two milimeters difference).Basically you get what you pay for

I bought this product to replace the slats on an Ikea double bed (200cm x 140cm mattress size), which had snapped.The product came in a long cardboard box, with the slats themselves rolled into a long rectangle and held together with cable ties. Instructions were included, but I did not need to refer to them.The slats themselves are effectively flat and unfinished - there was some roughness on the set I received but this was easily resolved with sandpaper. For a more expensive mattress you might want to sand and finish them properly, but for an inexpensive one this wasn't really an issue.The slats are held together by fabric on two sides. The size is ideal for a 200cm long bed, with the end slats sitting approximately 4-5cm from each end. This gives a much better fit than the original slats, and better support for the mattress overall. The slats are apparently covered for weight up to 100kg according to the instructions - it is not clear whether this is increased if used with a crossbeam.Overall, they are much more comfortable than the pair of shorter slats they replaced, and in particular seem much less likely to fall out in the middle of the night.Overall, an ideal purchase, and a bargain at the price.

Two days, two broken slats. They are simply too thin and too supple. If lay flat, between them they can easily support the weight of two adults, but each individual spat cannot support even a single, small, woman for more than a few seconds. Making even the slightest amount of misplaced pressure when laying down/exiting the bed extremely likely to lead to further damage. If there were half the number, each twice as thick, perhaps then they would be suitable for sleeping on, but I only feel that the wood use would still be too flimsy.Put bluntly, they are not fit for purpose and should not be allowed to be sold

Slats broken where there were large knots. Not keen on quality of wood. Refunded without quibble without the hassle of returning the damaged goods.Can't say I'd be confident about strength/use.

Bought a new ottoman lift bed with the flimsiest slats on the planet. Bought these to slot on between them and they work perfectly. Comfy and strong.

Good thickness and good quality, do as required comes with pre drilled holes with a bag of screws which is a really good idea which made the planks stay in place
