I love these mugs and was glad to find them again on Amazon. But initially there were some bugs in the Amazon packing and distribution channel, and the mugs were shipped loose (!) in a box. I ordered 12, and 9 arrived broken. I ordered again and 8 arrived broken. Then the vendor wrote me a personal email saying they fixed their packaging problem with Amazon, so I ordered a third time. It worked! Each cup was in its own box, and they arrived in perfect condition. So now they can be reliably ordered on Amazon.On another note: regarding people who say that the mugs don't retain heat. No offense, but that is a naive observation. In fact, the mugs are excellent at retaining heat, but you have to pre-heat them (30 seconds in the microwave does it.) These mugs are massive and hold a lot of heat (they have high "heat capacity.") When you put hot coffee into a cold mug, the mug absorbs heat from the coffee; this is what the one-star reviewers are experiencing. However, if you pre-heat the mug (20-30 seconds in the microwave is good,) then the heat capacity works in your favor: the warm mug protects the coffee from heat loss to the surrounding air.Most mugs that keep your coffee warm will work this way. Their initial heating must come from something other than the hot coffee. Hence, the microwave.Any thin cup will lose heat to the surrounding air. It is the thin cups that cool your coffee quickly.

Love these mugs!!! I was looking for rustic but elegant and these are it!!! They are a great hearty mug for winter!! The mugs were packaged great to avoid damage while in transit. The only draw back is I wish the handle was less chunky, to give my fingers more room! For anyone considering, please know that the specs are navy blue, not black. I was going back and forth on the navy blue with white specs or what I thought was white with black specs, so I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and found the white mug with navy specs. I’ll update after we use them.

I have two sizes of these incredible mugs... my suggestion, go for the largest size available. Coffee, tea, soup, oatmeal, anything... these are the best mugs I've ever owned. I gift them to family, they love them too.Forget foo-foo mugs, these are the real deal. The colors are vibrant, they survive the dishwasher... Heck, I found on on top a fence post in my yard and after a year there was no fading... cobalt blue, as deep and shiney as day one. (I was wondering where that mug went)Bottom line.. these are the best you can get for a big mug of coffee to start your day.

These are my absolute "go-to" mugs. Good size, stable design and reminiscent of a metal camp mug without the hassles of the real McCoy like getting too hot! Good size finger hole/handle. I bought one, then subsequently ordered the set of four. While the burnt orange color is a match on all five mugs, the second set had far fewer black flakes in the finish. Just a small visual difference which only I probably notice, but if you want matching I recommend ordering all at once to eliminate production variations in the finish.

I purchased these cups for a feature that was noted in the Q&A section that says it has a flat bottom. I have hot plate designed for a coffee cup and purchased these based on the description. Keep looking if you have the same need...otherwise these are nice quality and well designed for normal use...plus you get a workout when you pick it up.

Love love love these. Expensive but you get what you pay for. Very chunky camp coffee cups. Extremely well made, no flaws.May order another set in different color. Good gift item.

These are beautiful mugs .They are well made and the colors are rich. I bought three sets dark green, burgundy and orange. I love them! They seem very sturdy and well balanced.

Loved the looks but hated the functionality! Too wide, therefore not keeping my coffee hot, which was the reason for the purpose. I like to savor my morning coffee and wish for it to stay hot , so now returning these and searching for another!
