When I was shopping for a ShockWave machine I wanted an excellent machine, and I also knew I wanted to buy it from a company that stood behind their product. The PSP15 has proved itself to meet both criteria. It is used in a small professional office. Time and care is given to each client. My clients are very positive about its effectiveness. The increase in client satisfaction and bookings was noticed immediately. Like most ShockWave machines, this machine has a touch screen. In addition, located on top of the unit are knobs to adjust the strength and frequency. These are solid parts of the machine and add convenience. During active use of the machine the knobs are easier to use than the touch screen. When in communication with the client they allow me to get the ideal depth and frequency for the best results. It is a very functional feature that I have not seen on other machines and I use it continually. I truly believe it allows for a better treatment. The machine comes with a travel case. This is a strong sturdy protective case. I give this company A+ customer service. An email sent is answered quickly. It is well written and easy to understand. I recommend this company with complete confidence. I have used it on myself, family, friends and of course clients. The results of using this machine have been overwhelming positive. Easy to operate, simple to clean and gives excellent results. To those of you who are treatment professionals. I have been practicing for many years. I purchased this device mainly for foot and joint discomfort. I’ve been using it for over seven months, and it has helped me feel significantly more comfortable. During the first four months, I used it daily and noticed steady improvement. After that, I reduced the usage to two or three times a week, and it has continued to work well for me. The device has been very helpful for my daily routine, and overall I’m very satisfied with the experience.

This has to be one of the best purchases I have made on Amazon. This equipment is well-made with solid construction. I purchased this unit after doing the research on acoustic wave therapy as an alternative to knee replacement. I also checked around at clinics for therapy package pricing and found that I could purchase the product with payback after about 12 to 15 sessions and at the convenience of using in my home. I figured if it works, that I would have a product that I could use whenever needed for my family. I have been using over 6 months on numerous people for several different problem areas. Shoulder, plantar fasciitis & sciatica & knees. It has helped everyone that has used it, usually after the 1st use. I have personally used on my shoulder & had tremendous relieve after the 1st use. I have also been using on my lower back & knees which are bone on bone. The equipment is easy to use with its pre-set programing & easily adjustable with the 2 knobs located on top for level & frequency. I have contacted customer service twice with questions and received a response both times within the same day. Excellent purchase!

The reason I bought Pervita PSP15 is to help my myofascial pain syndrome that affects most of my muscle groups. The machine is very heavy and is built like a Sherman tank. The touchscreen helps you to set the initial energy level and frequency to start the session with. However, I use the wheels on the top of the machine to adjust both the energy output and the frequency to my feelings. If I feel it does not hit the spot I increase the levels, if it causes too much pain or a feeling of electric jolt, I decrease the levels. So the session reminds of playing a musical instrument: forte and piano, crescendo and diminuendo. I found out that frequency lower that 7 Hz with higher energy equal or greater 5 bars produces a focused deep pulse needed to reach deep profound muscles. It also take more time to cover those muscles at that frequency. The higher frequency equal or greater than 10 with the same energy level yields notably less energy per pulse than lower frequency and the output remains on the surface rather than go deep. That mode is suitable for working on superficial tissues likely fascia. Also higher frequency mode covers the surface for tightly and much faster, making it possible to cover larger areas in less time. I started using the Machine with ultrasound gel but found out that it is so slick that I cannot control the handle, it just slips away. I was recommended by the vendor to use any netral body lotion or just water, which actually works better for me that the gel. It is a kind of art to use the machine on myself, so I have to keep an eye on the handle and sometimes use a wall mirror to see what you doing. I still learn how to properly bend the handle and direct the pulses where I need them. All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase and hope to get more out of my PSP15 once I learn to use it more effectively. Right now I am at the beginning of my learning curve and I'll update this review if I find the ways to use it more effectively that worth sharing.

I purchased this shockwave therapy machine to help manage extreme pain caused by calcified tendonitis in my shoulder. I had previously undergone therapy with a chiropractor who used a similar device, but the ongoing treatments were costly. Given my condition and the machine's additional benefits for aging-related issues, I decided to invest in one for personal use. Using this device significantly reduced my shoulder pain, making it much more manageable. However, it didn't completely eliminate the pain until I received a cortisone shot from a sports medicine doctor, which seemed to dissolve the calcium deposits effectively. While I still experience some discomfort, it’s nothing compared to the pain I endured before. Now, rarely i use it for my shoulder, and can sleep much better without waking up from shoulder pain at nights. In my opinion, if you're dealing with shoulder pain caused by calcified tendonitis, consulting a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment—such as a targeted injection—should be your first step. That said, this machine is an excellent complementary tool for pain management and a "must-have" for its versatility. I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS Not only did I spend almost 2 grand on this; but upon opening there was no epat gun, no cable to connect the missing epat gun and no charging cable. Completely unusable. And Amazon sucks because it’s been almost 3 days I talked to a supervisor who said it would be picked up the next day all it’s been almost 3. Never again.

Very happy! I bought this PerVita PSP15 machine several weeks ago and am very happy with it. I am a chiropractor in private practice for 39 years, and am very picky about the therapies I use on my patients. I really looked carefully at all possible shockwave machines, with the priorities being affordability, quality, and customer service. This machine has given me all those. The unit itself and the applicator gun have a solid, well-constructed feel. It is not too loud. It comes with 3 applicator heads – 6mm, 20mm, and 32mm, and these are all that I think you need for the different body areas one might treat. You can adjust the number of bars of power and the frequency using either the touch screen or the 2 knobs on the top of the unit. The knobs on top make it very easy to adjust the power or frequency as you’re applying the shockwave, which I often do based on patient feedback. I use Polysonic ultrasound lotion to apply the shockwave – I find it’s a little better to use than the gel for smooth movement of the applicator head. So far I’ve used it on the lower back, on plantar fasciitis, on shoulder tendonitis, and on my own golfer’s elbow - medial epicondylitis. Mostly good results - maybe one or two patients did not feel improvement, but the majority so far have. And this is true for any therapy you might use on patients. My own elbow has felt much better with 2 applications after having pain for several months. So, it’s definitely a good machine to have in my chiropractic toolbox along with my ultrasound and electrostim. The customer service has been outstanding! I have sent a number of email questions, and all have been answered within 12 hours and usually even quicker. Customer service rep Jeff is eager to help and I can see he is committed to doing whatever it takes to make things right – although I personally have not had any problems with my machine. Having this kind of customer service is really important, especially as you are first learning how to use the machine and how to take care of it. They also sent additional instructional videos about cleaning the gun and replacing parts which are very helpful. In summary, I am very pleased with this purchase. I can’t yet speak about durability since I’ve only had it a few weeks, but it does seem to have the quality that will make it last. And again, I know their customer service will be there to back it up. I feel that this is a great cost effective alternative compared to the shockwave machines out there selling for much more.
