美しく繊細な大型本 ダンボール函入り 本自体は (約)(縦40.5cm横30.0cm厚さ6.5cm)712p Printed in Italy 高価な本の割りには 表紙カバーがひび割れしやすかったり 中の紙も少し薄く 頑丈な作りでは無い印象 なので最初は 神経質になってシワやシミが出来たら嫌なので おそるおそるページめくってしまう 折り目やシミが付いても リジッドデニムを履き込んでいくような感じで 気にせずガンガン使い込む意気込みが必要かも (開封２日目で折り目やシミを作ってしまってショックから吹っ切れた) 最初に刊行された 2003年の45cm大型本の方が 紙も分厚く全体的にしっかりした作りで 保存版に相応しい感じ(日本語版は2004年) パッと見 2003年版の内容に 2017年のムンディ関連と 図解作品が17項目と新たに1項目追加になっていて 各章の始まりの金色ページは光沢が増している 「白貂を抱く貴婦人」は色合いが濃くなっているのは気付いた 2003年度版の製本技術で 今回の色目や内容なら もっと完成度高かったかなという印象だけど 黒と金色の基調で 繊細な美しい本です

Beautifully presented, stunning book in a fine storage box. Just be aware that this is a heavy book which needs to be read on a table top or large book slope.
