Logitech Easy‑Switch K811 Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard for Mac, iPad, iPhone, Apple TV - 920-004161 (Renewed)

I have used this keyboard for years. I love it so much, I let my wife try it and now I had to buy her one. The keys are great. The charge last for months, and it recharges in just a few hours. The only drawback (and it is a minor one) is that there is no way to use my Macbook as a monitor for my laptop via Thunderbolt without using the original keyboard to switch between the two. Now that I am using a 2019 Macbook Pro, and Thunderbolt 2.0 is a thing of the past on that one, the problem has become moot.

First all it came out looking like they played football with it in the process of delivery then it only worked for three months

I love this keyboard. I have it paired with the Logitech Ultrathin Touch Mouse T630. Together they are a great pair. I have two sets of them at home for my two MacBook Pro / Thunderbolt display setups. 1 pair of them at work. I also have 1 pair of them I keep in my laptop backpack for traveling. Tiny and lightweight and they run a long time on a single charge. I also have the keyboard paired with both my iPhone and my iPad.

Just wish it had a few extra keys such as "delete" which is only backspace, and an up/down/left/rt key/home and end keys. Would rateit five stars if it had these standard navigation/editing features that have been around since DOS days. Thank goodness I have a Kensington trackball to move the cursor around, but I am inherently a keyboard person. Very compact design and nicely lit keys and ability to dim screen and speakers. Needed a small keyboard for my I-Mac but it's the opposite of my large and versatile Microsoft keyboard which I had been using for the last two years.

Smooth keys with bright backlit display which detects movement too. Also love the fact that it instantaneously connect to up to three devices at the push of a button. Although I opt for a refurbished item, it came with the necessary cable and manual which was well boxed too. This is quality.

The first one I ordered/received had a broken tape seal, so I could tell it had been opened... The malfunctioning 'y' and 'p' keys make it almost impossible to use. I almost called a female client a derogatory term, when saying I 'hope' you have a good day, and the headline of this review read much differently before I proofread... So I ordered a replacement and here is what arrived (attached picture)! That is not my handwriting, and I swore years ago to NEVER use purple post-it notes. EVER! It appears no one at Logitech even opened this other person's return of a malfunctioning keboard. I am pretty unimpressed. With respect to the quality of the keboard in general, it's acceptable. It doesn't feel NICE or expensive or anything—the k750 has keys more like an Apple keyboard, while these keys are a little high... Crumbs can definitely get under these keys, so it's not good for workaholics who snack at our desk, or gamers etc. Oh, and I have to pay for the shipping packaging to return these. Bummer.

I use Apple Macs, and this is a great keyboard for me. I can type fast and accurately.I've tried quite a few other boards with middling to good results. But, they all had a learning curve before I could touch-type quickly without backing up to fix mistakes. The K811 was a breeze from the beginning, maybe because the keys are similar to a regular Mac keyboard.I considered getting the Apple Magic keyboard, but I'm glad I chose the Logitech. And it was cheaper too.Live long and prosper
