The rope is long enough for a 20 foot flagpole.
So far so good. If you have read the other reviews the major complaints seems to be that it is made of plastic. That is true it is plastic. The ball on top is a very thin metal however. My old With the pulley was an aluminum casting that eventually cracked. You really have to look twice at this one to see that it's not a casting and it's plastic. I am hopeful that it will last longer than the last one. The rope seems to be of the type that may last for a bit. The road is long enough for a 20 foot flagpole.

You Get What You Pay For
For the price, compared to other options from major flag carriers, seemed like a good option. In the end, I decided not to use the halyard line, the snaps, the cleat or the ball for the top. And I replaced the pulley on the truck with a real pulley. Went to Tractor Supply for the pulley and snaps, Ace Hardware for the halyard (5/16" polyester cord) and picked up a nice cleat from the local marine shop. Overall, turned out pretty good.
