Great product!..Better than the competitor in my opinion
I purchased this optic plate to mount my Holosun 407C X2 on to my Smith & Wesson M&P 9 Metal Optics Ready 4.25 inch. I know there is a lot of discussion about the polymer adapter plates provided by SW. I ran this gun with the polymer shims and had no issues with the plates at all. My optic mounts directly to the slide and the polymer plates act more as a shim than an adapter plate. While I had no issues with the SW plates, I was not a big fan of the look. The plastic corners stick out quite a bit as compared to the aluminum options. I originally looked at C&H plates but $50 felt steep at the time. Especially after some of the add on options they provide at check out (extra screws, paint markers, T10 torx bits, etc)..you get closer to $80-$100 at check out. I decided to do a little research and found out about the DPP plates. For the price, I figured I would give them a chance and opted for the aluminum version. The plate came with a plastic case which included screws which were marked for either Holosun or Trijicon, a wrench tool, and a Trijicon sealing plate. I was very happy with the packaging and the quality of the materials. I mounted my red dot and had no issues with the fit or the installation. About a month later, I purchased the C&H plate mainly out of curiosity. I wanted to see if there was a noticeable difference between the two. This is what I found.... Both the DPP and C&H are made from quality aluminum. The DPP screws felt a little thick when screwing them in. It could have been too much loctite or could have been my pistol. But I did not have any issues with the thickness or length of the C&H screws. The DPP has more of a matte finish while the C&H has more of a shine to it. Holding the two side by side, the DPP has a better fit and finish. It just seems like a higher quality plate. The tolerances on the DPP are much tighter. When installing the Holosun onto the DPP by itself (not on the gun) there is little to no movement. When I install the Holosun onto the C&H by itself (not on the gun) there is much more noticeable front to back and side to side play. When I install the DPP onto the gun (no Holosun), there is almost no play or movement. When I install the C&H onto the gun by itself there is noticeable movement in all directions. The same goes for mounting the Holosun with each plate, there is little to no movement when mounting the DPP (no screws) and there is noticeable back and forward movement (no screws) with the C&H. It seems the two holes on the C&H are a tad too big causing all the movement. I also noticed the two "nubs" on the DPP are a tad longer and thicker which takes out some of the unnecessary movement. Something else I noticed was the DPP plate has a small indent or cutout for what appears to be a roll pin on the SW gun. The C&H does not have that cutout. Not sure how or if it will affect performance but just something I noticed. Obviously once you screw in each combination it appears to feel secure. I am new to pistol optics but from what I can tell is the DPP is the better of the two at this time. I am currently running the DPP with C&H screws. This review might be over kill for an adapter plate but I am very impressed with this option and I would recommend you try it out for yourself. -Gio

Quality product for a good price
Excellent! The material and finish is great and fit my M&P 2.0 perfectly. Mounted an holosun 507 no problem. The price is reasonable and I am glad I bought one. Good job guys.

Perfect fit, but screws are too long.
Plate is great quality and a perfect fit for both the slide and optic using a S&W PERFORMANCE CENTER M&P9 M2.0 COMPETITOR with a Holosun 507COMP. No wiggle, no gaps, perfect. However the screws included with the plate marked as "for Holosun" are in fact too long, as stated in other reviews. Use the screws that come with your optic. (Otherwise 5 stars)

Solid plate, great option.
1000 rounds with no issues so far. Great option for a metal plate. I have a second firearm using the factory plastic with no issues either but I just prefer metal for longevity and matching the slide. Currently on a M&P Competitor with a 407C. Ordering another one soon for a 407K.

Perfect Fit, Unbeatable Value
I'm a broken record, but it's just like all the other reviews. This DPP Titanium Mount/Adapter plate is freaking amazing! The finish on the plate looks great and the tolerance is on another level; this fit perfectly, and of course, the optic fit in just as expected with minimal to zero wiggle. I attached the optic with the provided screws and torqued to spec. I am seriously impressed with the fit at the price it's listed at. Don't bother trying to spend more money on an optic plate; this is all you need and should have to pay.

Quality plates
Way better than the plastic plates that com from S&W. Fits perfectly but decided to use stronger screws I bought for another build I had. Didn’t want to risk having the provided screws shear off again.

Cheap Screws!
This installed just fine but after 5 or 6 trips to the range the screws sheared off! The plate is MIA and my EDC is out of commission until it takes a trip to the gunsmith which will probably take 6 weeks to get back!
