Japan Data ONLY SIM Card 30 Days | Unlimited Internet Data (10GB at 4G LTE High Speed Data Then downgrade to 128kbps)

I used this sim cart on a trip my wife and I took to Thailand. The first thing I would recommend is to make sure your phone is actually unlocked. I had to bring an old phone to use it in because my current phone is not unlocked. I put it in the phone and turned the phone on once we landed in Bangkok. I had to follow the instructions on the packaging and after a little while (maybe an hour or two), it started working. This was great because the ride-share app (Grab) saved us a lot of money in Thailand and I wouldn't have been able to use it without a mobile phone. The only issue I had was on the second day of using it when we went to Phuket. For some reason, it didn't work the first day we were there but started working on the second day. I am not sure if it was because we went to a different location or what but it started working eventually. In the end, I used a little over 1 GB for this trip so I wasn't even close to going over the amount that it was capable of. I am really glad we got it because it saved us a ton of money both in the cost of using the phone but also the ability to use Grab to get around easier. I would get it again in a heartbeat if I was going back to Southeast Asia.It came with a little tool to push the SIM card holder out as well as some basic instructions.

Purchased 2 SIM cards, one for mainland China and one for Korea. I used an Android 11 phone that met all of the requirements for the SIM cards. Neither SIM card worked in either country. Other SIM cards purchased locally worked without any issues. I contacted customer support and their attempts to help were very basic and repetitive. I've used SIM cards across many phones and have a lot of experience with how they work. It seems like customer support tried to delay me reporting that the product does not work to Amazon so that it would fall outside of the return window. They also strongly emphasize to not use the SIM card until arriving in the target country which generally makes it very hard to return the product to Amazon. Very frustrating experience, recommend you buy SIM cards locally.

Just arrived Singapore from US. Using on unlocked iPhone 13. Loaded card and it set itself up automatically and labelled itself “business” in the SIM card menu. Had to flip switch enable data roaming but otherwise the card set itself up. Reducing to four stars…Update: card still working well, though occasionally loses network connection. When this happens can readily reconnect by either turn off data then turn on or reboot phone.Update from Vietnam: works well in Vietnam. No issues with losing network connections.Overall I recommend this card - good value, and great to have the card prior to arriving in Asia

I bought two 30 days card. There was no problem after installation, but both cards lost connection after the third day. Very disappointing.After did some troubleshooting by following the attached instructions, both cards started working again. This is a good product that is very convenient for travelers. I feel luck that I found it on Amazon before my trip.

Works like charm and magic. Used immediately on the arrival flight at China airport, and activated in just a second. Would recommend to buy for the travel. We bought 10G and 5G initially, but hope to buy two 10Gs instead, 10G is better deal than 5G which runs out fast.

When I lived in Japan in 2019 I rented a wifi device. That is preferable for the long term. However, This time I was only there 18 days. Hesitated to go with this due to varying reviews. Glad to report that this SIM worked the entire trip without a hitch. From Haneda, to Okinawa, back to Handea and then to Kamakura and finally to Asakusa and Haneda once more, not once was there an issue. Highly recommend.

Update April 5,2023After 2 days, the remaining 2 (30 day 15G SIM card) that initially worked also got disconnected and China Mobile shows up as the network. I know I did not use up the 15G of data because I got an eSIM from SingTel Airalo, and I used 500M in 2 days on the SingTel network. I am lucky that I still have a slow cell data service and have international data. Albeit at the unbearable speed of 256kb. It was my life line to get the Airalo data service that delivers eSIM card online.If you have to use a physical SIM card, get the 15 day ones and not the 30 day ones. The 15 day SIM cards worked all the way to the end of my trip.Original review …The SIM cards worked like a charm when they do. I bought 6, installed 4. 2 worked on power up. Good. Not the same for the other 2. The other 2 connected briefly and got kicked off. “iPhone not activated Contact you carrier if this problem continues to occur”. It looked like to me that the SIM card is not authorized to work in Japan. So I checked the carrier. And it says China Mobile (in Chinese). Of course these 2 wouldn’t work! It would work in China! So this is a packaging problem. They we mixing up SIM card from the wrong country! Luckily, I bought two extra as backups. The other backup SIM cards (15 day 10G) worked just as expected.

Easy to use and it works.

Set up was easy. Basically just put the SIM card in and set up the APN. Speed was great. Tethering also worked fine. We bought only two for our family of 4 thinking buying local SIM in Japan would be cheaper but turned out we can't find anything cheaper that works for 15 days. Most are 7 days SIM that costs around US$40.

Meine Erfahrung: Landung in Shenzhen. Roaming einschalten. Für mobile Daten die neue SIM-Card festlegen (bei meinem Dual-SIM-Telefon = SIM 2). Erst passierte nichts. Für wenige Sekunden nochmal in den Flugmodus. Dann Flugmodus wieder ausgeschaltet. Neue SIM-Card hat nach kurzer Zeit selbständig ihr Netz gefunden. Problemloser Datenempfang in China, Macau und Hongkong. Volles "westliches" Internet inklusive GoogleMaps, Facebook, Youtube, Nachrichtenseiten. Perfekt!

Ho usato questa SIM per la mia vacanza di 10 giorni in Giappone.L'ho inserita nel telefono una volta atterrato a Tokyo e si è subito connessa alla rete in maniera automatica, senza dover effettuare alcuna configurazione.Ha funzionato perfettamente, ho potuto usare Maps e translate senza problemi ma non solo la velocità garantiva anche la navigazione su internet e streaming video.Una pecca per me è stata l'impossibilità di verificare il traffico residuo ma comunque non ho avuto problemi di dati.
