If you can finally manage to get the covering on the suppository open by cutting the top part off with a scissors and then you will need to use a small pliers to pull the sides down and off of the suppository, the product is effective. When my current supply is gone I will never order this brand again. I will gladly paymore for Prep H which is the brand I used before purchasing this brand. I don't have arthritic fingers or hands. The suppository covers are unbelievably difficult to remove. Obviously no one in the company producing these has ever tried to use it.

This is one of the better products of its kind. Doesn't break a part easily and once in use it does what it is intended to do. And on the hole it feels great 👍 👌

I wish I had read the other reviews before ordering. These suppositories are impossible to open without scissors. When you do finally get it open, the product usually crumbles into pieces. I did manage to get one or two open without crumbling, and those did work fine. But it shouldn't be this difficult to open. I imagine that if someone had arthritis in their hands, they would give up. I won't buy thus brand again.

I am 64 and extremely capable. I open everything my 75 yo husband can't. Things can be difficult. These suppositories are IMPOSSIBLE. First off - the perf to separate is non existent. Use scissors. No big. I cannot open and pull down the wrapper on the suppository. I don't have the strength and they did not provide enough paper to grab. Do not buy

Compared to the brand, they’re about 60% efficient. Maybe because they are a little smaller in size.I have mild arthritis and had a very hard time opening the individual packaging. Don’t buy if you don’t have a lot of strength in your hands, or you won’t be able to open them.

These seem to be about 25% smaller than Preparation H suppositories or the equivalent ones from CVS.They are designed for the individual suppositories to be torn to separate them from the other ones in the package, and then peeled down to open - but the packaging is too thick and tough for that: you have to cut them with scissors to open.
