Fernox 56599 500ml F1 Protector

I was experiencing some problems with my heating system and the boiler kept cutting out, a friend suggested that I may have a blockage in the pipe especially since one of the radiators produced black water when I released some water from it, so I purchased some Fernox F3 cleaner and ran that through the system for a few days and then once fully flushed out I refilled using this F1 protector, and so far the boiler was worked perfectly and think its even making less noise than it did before. If this continues to be a success I plan to clean and protect on an annual basis to ensure the heating system is it good condition. There are other brands on the market but I chose Fernox as an internet search showed it had a good reputation and so far I have not been disappointed and so I will continue to use Fernox. Using this product and a weekend of my time has saved me a big plumbers expense.

We have used this Fernox F1 protector fluid in our central heating system for many years and find it excellent as a corrosion/rust preventative.

Amazon urged me to review so here goes This kind of product works in the background so its difficult to say how well it works I can only say the water in my rads stays clean and I have never had any blockage etc. As far as I know Fernox is the premium product and you can get cheaper but for the number of times you buy it (once a year) I buy the best

fernox is a liquid put into heating systems. i put it in as instructions. and thats all i can say.

I always use Fernox in my header tank for my heating sytem. I change it once a year,by by empty the tank and cleaning it

I added this after flushing the system. My radiators now run hotter and the boiler is much quieter.
