Just as nice as the one I had for my Old Timer in the earky '80s! Sturdy, thick leather with great stitching!

Perfect fit for my Old Timer large folding blade traditional Carbon steel knife. I was carrying a Nordic style Sheath knife but I nearly lost it several times due to it falling out of its sheath, and it was dangler heath, always in the way. Too Dangerous- This will do it! Plus the Old Timer steel is superior, takes a great edge and is even handier than the Nordic style- Glad to find this Sheath!!!!

My beloved Buck Alpha Hunter Folding (7/8” thick & 4-13/16” closed) with custom eagle cutout outlasted the original $100 leather sheath and a ballistic nylon version from Buck that are no longer offered. I searched for over 2 years until I decided to see if I could make this inexpensive, yet well made, Old Timer sheath work… besides, I’m an old timer, too! I NOW HAVE A SHEATH BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL BUCK LEATHER ONE❗️It will take some patience, leather softener and almost of week to accomplish, but the results speak for themselves. First soften the sheath with a leather conditioner for rawhide, like Skidmore or Ray Holes Vaquero. Work it into the pores & let sit a day, then 2-3 times more until sheath is becoming pliable. Then insert your folder, pushing as far as possible. Then comes the secret of “the stretch”. In my case I keep old toothbrushes for uses outside my mouth! I stuffed 2 handles in between the knife & sheath. plus worked in more leather softener. I checked every day, adding another toothbrush handle. I also stuck TB handles into the very tight belt loop because I wear thicker duty belts. It took 6-7 days and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results.

Perfect condition and snug fit! This sheath also fits the Case 2 bladed folding hunter knife, as they share the same dimensions. The Olt Timer sheath is very good quality.

High quality leather. Great price. The belt loop isn't universal you have to have a certain size belt for it to fit properly(hence 4 stars). Had it for a few years now still stiff and still holding together

I looked at most of the leather cases that would hold my knife. Most of the less expensive cases had horrible reviews when it came to stitching and snap strength. This case was worth the extra cost because of how well it's built. I'm a very happy customer and highly recommend this case.

I had a spare used Schrade knife sheath I have used for years to carry my Fenix E35R EDC light. The bottom of it finally wore out, so I ordered a couple knife sheaths. This one was a perfect fit for the light. Just wet the inside of the bottom of the sheath and jam the light in there. After the leather dries, it will change from a rectangular shape to a round one, especially at the bottom. The flap and edges are rather stiff, but they will soften up with use.

La funda esta hecha en China, viene sólida y el material es rígido, adecuado para cargar un cuchillo o navaja o alguna herramienta. Yo lo compré para mi navaja Higonokami de hoja de 12cm, en total la navaja mide un poco mas de 14cm, le quedo perfecto esta funda. Recomendaría este producto.

Es una bonita funda gruesa y bien echa, sin embargo es más grande de lo que pensaba así que en lugar de una navaja me cupieron dos; la de talla de madera y la trapper de oldtimer... si un poco ajustadas pero eso no importa.

La verdad me ha sido muy práctica, el material el bueno, el principio costaba ponerla en algunos cintos más gruesos pero con el uso el cuero da un poco de si y ahora la uso sin problemas, cargo una navaja grande y una pequeña y he tenido problema alguno

La funda está bien, es de piel, el broche es fuerte, es robusta, no hay nada similar por el precio, únicamente agregar que si hay ciertos detalles en los acabados que la hacen premium, el broche está descentrado, y los cantos no están correctamente terminados, el cuero está “filoso”, con un bisel y un poco de tragacantos quedaría mucho mejor.
