Great, multipurpose and cheap to run heaters
Love these tube heaters. Have bought 6 now in various sizes. The 1ft ones are ideal in small sheds. Have a couple of 2ft ones in the summerhouse to stop it getting cold and damp when we are not in there with main heating on. We used slightly larger ones under a seating area where we found we were getting cold feet whilst sitting at the table in winter. They are often used in front of draughty windows too and in greenhouses to protect against frost. For background heat the built in thermostats are fine. Can also be used with plug in thermostat if you want a more accurate and controllable temperature. Just set the tube stat to max and control temp from thermostat plug. I always buy a cage to protect the tube.

Very easy to install.
I have a small room with no radiator in my house, that is used as a last resort guest room, it's always cold. This small radiator was up and running within 30 mins. Hardest part was making sure everything was level before drilling the holes alone.Good heat and the in built thermostat works well. There is no temperature in *c or *f so you just need to wait until the room gets to the feeling you want and then turn the heater down until you hear a "click" it should then auto off at that temp.

Will it work ?
Well packaged and easy to fit against a wall. Already have two others but when buying be certain of the size that you require for the space intended. Good product - fair price.

Does the job well
Worked fine. Wanted it to warm up the portch. It's discreet and sits in the corner nicely. Easy enough to assemble and mount. I would say it's good value for money.

Wouldn't be without this - great for musty wardrobes
We live in a 200 year old cottage that will always have cold spots, and damp of course. These tubular heaters have been a game changer. We have them everywhere - I think we have eight or more hidden around the house, doing their thing. They have an inbuilt thermostat so they'll tick on and off when the weather warms up, and I don't give them a second thought most of the time. We have found them most useful for wardrobes - clothes were coming out musty and sometimes even mouldy in spring especially. Since putting one of these at the back of the wardrobes, that has resolved itself. We use them with the protective cage in case anything falls. We have one inside a welsh dresser that was smelling rather nasty - no more damp! And even underneath the kitchen cupboards in one corner of the kitchen - drilled a few holes in the base to let the air circulate, and lo - no more soggy wet packets of food. Definitely recommend.

Great value, essential, reliable an useful unobtrusive
Best tubular heater I've used, it's under the dining table in my live aboard caravan, in conjunction with a two foot one under the inside nose cabinet. Keeps the frost, damp, mould and cold floor at bay.It runs from the end of September to about april, non stop on 75% power and helps dry shoes, smalls and gloves etc. They cut down on the need for full blown air and I've done away with gas completely! Use a Bambino oil heater in the wash room though, these tubes won't keep up with minus temperatures if you want to keep your pipework ice free.I've only had one failure due to over running which I tried to repair but the heating element is a sealed unit and it's cheaper to get a replacement. The running costs are so low I'm tempted to install another in the main wardrobe, extra sockets are easy to rewire and they don't trip the fuses.....Great value, useful, essential little heaters.

OK for 3D printer enclosure
Installed in enclosure for 3D printer for printing polycarbonate.Certainly helped to raise ambient temperature but could do with being a bit warmer for this application.
