they dont say wide fit BUT I am a 17stone retired rugby player/now ref and have wide feet and I feel very comfortable in them

They're certainly not a narrow fitting shoe. I've found them a really comfortable shoe.

Q: Is the trip good on icy roads?

To be honest I've not tried them on icy roads so I can't really give a definite answer.

Q: Are these ok for low level every day walking? Through wet fields and footpaths on a dog walk?

Well up to the job o dog 🐕 walking around fields and are waterproof. However I give the a spray of water repellent. Comfortable too
