I wanted these for travelling but they are quite heavy.The main issue is the rubber isn't very soft over the bridge of the foot and they make wearing them very painful so I've had to return them.Also they came from Amazon EU this made returns difficult. Three weeks later, even sent with full tracking, they seem to have gone missing after customs in Slovakia.

These were my first ever fins.I found them easy to use and found them much better for packing and travelling than my best friend did with her full sized fins (60cm) - these are around 40cm.They have a loop at the back which you can use to carry them or help you pull them off quickly without having to undo them. I found this really helpful when we went out diving and snorkelling. It meant I could yank them off but not be at risk of losing them in the ocean, so that I could climb up the ladder to get back on the speedboat.I couldn't go back to snorkelling or ocean swimming without fins now - they really help propel you throug the water but are lightweight so not cumbersome.Personally for comfort I wouldn't use these without socks - I bought separate neoprene socks on Amazon. I was worried they would rub as I am a women with very skinny ankles. However, they do fit fine without and if you did want to wear with bare feet you could.Overall, I'm so glad I went for these as my first fins and know I will get a lot of use out of them. Bought for my 12 year old son who loves snorkelling and scuba diving. Took them on holiday as lightweight and small enough to fit in suitcase. Great value for money and he says they are really comfortable.

I like to travel light (hand luggage) and like to snorkel so I was looking for fins that could cope. These are perfect. They fit in my small rucksack along with my snorkel and mask and are perfect to swim with. A word of caution. They have adjustable straps and a heel strap so you can adjust them and make them nice and tight. Make sure you do them up nice and tight! First time I used them I didn't and one fell off, straight to the bottom as they don't float. I managed to swim down and recover, but don't make the same mistake! But, the side straps and heel straps make them nice and easy to remove.

As a scuba diver, I've never used specialist snorkelling fins before and so was pleasantly surprised when I did. I bought these for a snorkelling holiday and there were perfect for putting into carry-on luggage as I knew that my holiday wouldn't be ruined if my checked in luggage went AWOL. Obviously they don't have the power of a scuba fin but they were ideal for snorkelling, even in some fairly choppy waters. Very happy with them.

Was slightly concerned about purchasing these as whether they would be effective in the open seas but there was no way I was packing full size fins for my trip.Anyway I took the plunge and have no regrets. Used these for snorkelling in the Bahamas over a week and they were great. Easy to put on and adjust so they fit perfectly. Maybe they are a little stiff as some reviewiers have said but nothing that I would complain about.Very happy with them

I purchased these to replace my trusty Zip Fins which split, to use for pool training and I have not been disappointed. They are quite short, rigid fins which flex at the ankle where there is an adjustable strap. You can get quite a powerful kick because of this, although the foot pocket was quite narrow and not quite as soft as I was expecting. The manufacturers state that they are designed to be used with fin socks and I would suggest that you go a size larger if you intend to use them.All in all a good fin at a competitive price
