At the current sale price of $14 (68% off!) and great reviews, this was a no-brainer. This blaster is essentially two guns in one. The shotgun works great, though it's not the typical spring-powered shot but rather uses an air reservoir, like the old super soaker water guns. Pump it up 8 times or so, then fire when ready. The shotgun is fired by either of the two, large buttons on the sides of the shotgun module. Kind of odd, but works fine. Range and spread on the shotgun are great, good luck dodging all six darts if you're at close to medium range. The semi-auto also works fine. You will need batteries (not included) to fire the semi-auto portion of the blaster. We used NiMH recharegeables in it and the motor runs fine on these, which is nice because I imagine you'd burn through alkalines pretty quick. Accuracy isn't great, but it's on par with any other Nerf gun that fires the standard darts so I'd say it meets expectations. Also works fine with the 3rd party darts. We used Little Valentine darts. There are three tactical rails where you can connect ammo holders, etc. I did note that our 6-round mags from another blaster would not work with it--this is because there's a little plastic notch cut out on those mags (akin to the old read-only tab you'd break off of a VHS cassette--yes, I'm that old) and they don't engage the trigger-enable lever up inside the blaster's magazine slot. Those mags can be modified to work by glueing some plastic or cardboard (perhaps a chopped bit of old credit card) into the notch on the upper rear of the mag. See picture. Bottom line: an excellent, fun, functional design and at $14, we bought two. My nephew is in for a surprise...

This Nerf blaster is fun to use and easy. You do need four batteries for the fly wheel to work. This blaster magazine holds 12 Nerf darts but you can always buy other magazines because they all fit this blaster. But one thing is please do not try to compete with this blaster because it is just for fun and the tactical/ Performance of it might not be on the competition level the shotgun that is attached to the front of the blaster 06 darts and is air pump powered you need to pump the air pump eight times and you have full air capacity. If you do pump it up more than once there is a Valois Letsss out the excess air so don’t worry it won’t break.

My crew has called a ceasefire just long enough for me to write this: the Nerf Elite 2.0 Motoblitz Blaster is an absolute blast. Right out of the box it feels solid in hand — not cheap, flimsy plastic that you dread handing over to the kids (or adults). The motorized 10-dart blasting is the real deal. Pull the trigger and the darts just go. No jawing the priming handle over and over like old manual blasters — this thing gets it done fast. Included is a scope that’s actually useful for lining up shots — not just some cosmetic piece. A couple of the Airblitz darts that come with it fly surprisingly straight and far, which makes backyard battles way more fun. Ten-dart capacity keeps the action going without constant reloading, but you can still drop mags quick if you’re charging the yard. It’s designed for outdoor play, and that’s where it really shines. Plenty of range, consistent performance, and enough zip that even the adults on our lawn took notice. If you’re headed into nerf wars with friends or young fighters, this one holds its own. The only gripe? Buy extra darts — because once the battalion finds out how fun this is, you’re eating darts like snacks. Bottom line: powerful, fun, and dependable. This is the kind of blaster you’ll actually reach for first on game day.
