Very clean sound and amazing bass from a speaker this small. The covering material is I assume a vinyl mesh, not a hard plastic like you would assume for a speaker this inexpensive. This is my 2nd purchase, one for home and one for work! And I am extremely picky when it comes to sound, so if I'm happy with it you know it's a great speaker.

The speaker connects to my phone easily but continuously drops the Bluetooth connection for some reason. I have to keep reconnecting even when both the speaker and my phone are stationary. The sound is descent, not too loud

Loved the sound coming from this device at a friend's home and ended up purchasing 2 for myself on Amazon. After just a few weeks the first one would no longer recharge. So I started to use the 2nd one and before 2 weeks had passed the identical problem happened to the 2nd unit, so overall I had gotten about six weeks of "just sitting on a shelf" use out of two units. Now both are just paperweights. When plugged in the charging light comes on for a few seconds and then quits. No matter how many time you begin to charge it never gets enough juice to ever operate again. So when they say you can get 18 hours battery life in the technical specs, they REALLY mean 18 hours of battery life - then it's dead as roadkill.

The convenience and the hefty weight for good sound make this is a superior product. BUT there is no easily discernible low-battery level warning. It just quits. Which is OK but it doesn't seem to last more than 3-4 hours in a workday. So the need to recharge is always 'there' making the cable-less operations just about impossible. This is a 5-star-sound reproducer, but a 3-star convenience product. Give it a '4' therefore.

Product sounds great when it works. Stopped charging completely this morning. I was once a very loyal Creative Labs fan, but I don't think I'll ever biuy another Creative Labs portable device ever again. Their power supplies are garbage.

Purchased 2 of these; began using the first one and was surprised by the clarity of sound even at max volume...equally surprised when it stopped working after 6 days!?!? Assumed that this was a one-off and opened the second package; same great sound...same defect...stopped working after 8 days. Would not recommend this product!

Purchased this summer, the sound of this is great for the price, it replaced my sony srs-xb30, granted the Sony was a bit louder and more costly too, also very bass heavy and lacked in other areas of sound. It was difficult to here lyric and other instruments even when EQ with software app. I fine just the right weight for portability and convenient that it fit in the water bottle cage directing the music up towards you. Pleased with purchase, only downfall it the announcer it bit loud when turning on device. but definitely pleasing to the ears.

The item has average sound quality, but it was good on low volume but not on medium volume and max. The sound had distortions. I decided to return it.
