I know these are advertised for a 4 door but I was able to make them work in a 2 door by drilling different holes in the pods , using the factory brackets and adding some spacers . Turned out pretty good , I used some Pioneer TS-Z65F 6.5” speakers . Sounds better than the 4” factory speakers .

Let’s face it the bronco sound system blows. This is a step in the right direction to making it way better. These pods allow you to put larger speakers in the back. Installation is super easy. 3-5 screws for each pod. I installed kicker speakers and did not touch forscan and it still made a huge difference. Remember this is just for the enclosures. Speakers are sold separately. These enclosures look great, and the covers snap on very easy. They look like stock but even better! No rattling (I did install sound deadening inside). Overall another high quality mabbett product I would recommend!

The media could not be loaded. B&O should be ashamed…. These Mabett speaker pods are amazing. I was able to use the Amazon Basics sound deadening material to line the insides which worked well. Ran the INCLUDED factory wiring adaptor. Mounted a Rockford Fosgate 6.75 2-way speaker which dropped right in. No dremel or trimming required. Description said compatible with 6.5” but I can confirm the 6.75 fit perfectly. Bolt hole lined up just right. Completely changed the audio experience in the Bronco! Thanks Mabett!

Great overall design but plastic is a bit thin, if you have dynomat type stuff definitely use it, the 6.5" speakers will have a bit more bass than the 4" - causing more vibration rattles. I also used polyfil to get a better sound. The side tabs and inserts arent properly sized so you kinda have to play with it to make it sit right when installing but other than that no real cons.Contrary to what others have said I was able to fit a pair of Infinity REF 6532IX with plenty of space between the tweeter & grille. The sound profile is fuller than with stock speakers/pods, I recommend getting some speakers that have a decibel boost to compensate if you have the B&O system.

Easy install, fits the kicker 6.75". Definite sound improvement at a reasonable price.

After install and tweaking with forscan i realized that the pods don't have enough room for the speakers to compress air. It sounds a bit better than factory but they could've been built way better. The screws don't get tight so i rotated them slightly and drilled small holes for the screws to grab. That still didn't work out due to how soft the plastic is. The mounting holes didn't line up quite right and required further modification. The side holes are way too small and also required further modification. All in all it sounds better but not as good as I would expect for installing 6.75" speakers over 4" speakers.

Does not fit Orion 6.5 speakers. Cheap plastic. Holes to reconnect aren't even pre-drilled. Disappointed.
